lavorful and a teeny bit spicy, the Old Chang Kee curry puffs are perfect to be tasted while you’re walking around Central London.
Nasi lemak and chicken rendang – with its vegan version – are also available on the menu.

Creativity lies at the core of the Masala Zone offer; even if the restaurant has traditional Indian halal food in Covent Garden, the chefs constantly create new ways of tasting those Indian flavors and spices.

I talked about a few halal Turkish food places in my guide to the best halal restaurants in Edmonton.
But if you’re willing to try modernized Turkish street food in a Covent Garden place, then Maison Bab is for you.
This is not your usual kebab place – far from it.
You might be used to hearty, homemade Turkish food served on huge platters, and you’ll get that vibe at Maison Bab, but quite differently.
Actually, Maison Bab, and its halal chicken and lamb, specialized in fresh, posh ingredients to make their kebab.
Some of my favorite dishes include the very interesting Turkish Korean halal fried chicken, while you’ll also find spicy roasted aubergines, grilled chicken shish kebab, and beautifully spiced mezze to share.
On the menu, Maison Bab has included quite a few vegetarian and vegan dishes to try and cater to most people.

Pizza Pilgrims was one of the first Italian restaurants I ever visited in London, and to this day, the Garrick Street pizzeria is one of my favorite halal restaurants in Covent Garden.
Most of their menu is vegetarian, with a few pork options here and there.
However, Pizza Pilgrims, after testing a few restaurants, has decided to offer halal pepperoni in all of their branches.

The Pizza Pilgrims restaurant in Covent Garden is pretty small and cozy, and you cannot book – you have to walk in to get a seat, like in their restaurant in Soho.
However, I’ve never had any trouble getting a table at this restaurant, and the food quality is always great.
It’s a busy spot, so you might want to go early, or be prepared to wait a little bit when looking to dine at Pizza Pilgrims.
My favorite type of pizza ever is the Margherita, and the Neapolitan-style Pizza Pilgrims make their Margherita in makes it one of the best Italian street food, and halal places to eat in Covent Garden.
That’s definitely not a fancy restaurant, but you’ll have a great time there, especially if you’re with a group of foodies.

Cabana has a few branches in London, and whether you’re looking for halal restaurants in Covent Garden, Greenwich, Stratford, or White City, you’ll taste there some traditional and modern Brazilian and Latin dishes.
Brazilian barbecue, in general, is some of the tastiest South American cuisines you can find – and I don’t know about you, but there are not a lot of Brazilian halal restaurants near me.
At Cabana, all the chicken and lamb are halal, as well as the rib eye steak.
So if you’re ever craving a juicy halal steak, you know for sure that the barbecued meat will be dripping with flavor.
Pao de queijo, flat iron chicken breast, and dirty fries all make for the perfect dishes to share when you go to Cabana on a romantic date, with your friends, or your family.
If you’ve been looking for a halal brunch in London, theirs is pretty interesting, tainted with Brazilian and South American notes.
Buttermilk halal fried chicken, baked cornbread, Brazilian ‘French toast’ – they’ll be the perfect start to a Saturday around London.

At Steak and Company, which has branches in the most coveted areas in Central London like Covent Garden, Leicester Square, and Piccadilly, you’ll find a completely separate halal menu for Muslim patrons.
Halal sirloin and fillet are both featured on the Steak and Company menu, alongside other Italian and European classics like lobster mac and cheese and cacio e pepe fettucini.

If you’re looking for halal restaurants in Trafalgar Square, Angus Steakhouse located at the intersection of Charing Cross Road and Cranbourn Street is a busy place perfect for a midweek date and to take the kids.
That’s also where, if I may, you will find incredibly instagrammable pastries at Donutelier – make sure you try this place.
Since Angus Steakhouse is open 7 days a week, that’s one of the halal food places near Covent Garden perfect whenever you fancy a lunch/dinner out.
The fact that there is a separate halal menu makes it that much more attractive.
Plus, both the sides and the desserts are equally as delicious.
You’ll find at Angus Steakhouse smoked haddock fish cake, buttery new potatoes, freshly steamed vegetables, and to finish it all off, a delicious honeycomb and almond ice cream.
