Lots of charity shops in London are open on Sunday, but I have found that the Muswell Hill charity shops are some of the best if you’re looking to do some charity shopping at the end of the week.
There are two Cancer Research charity shops in Muswell Hill, and both are very affordable.
My latest find is a Nautica handbag, one of the bag brands you can also find discounted in TK Maxx stores in London.
Quite a clean shop, with a good selection of plus-size clothes as well as books and some homeware.

Best Charity Shops in London: Oxfam Bookshop

The Oxfam Bookshop is one of the utterly best charity shops in Muswell Hill, with a collection clearly sorted out.
I love finding secondhand bookshops in London, and my first visit to an Oxfam shop was actually the Oxfam Bookshop on Bloomsbury Street, back in 2014.
From kids books to vinyls, history and gardening books, Oxfam Bookshop on Muswell Hill Broadway definitely is one of the best-stocked charity shops in Muswell Hill – probably in the whole of London.
There is also a sale section with a few books that cost even less than the charity shop’s regular price, and a fashion section that has some really good titles as well.

Mind on Muswell Hill Broadway is one of the newest charity shops in Muswell Hill, since it was opened in July 2022.
This is one of the cleanest – and best charity shops in London if what you’re after are secondhand designer clothes.
On offer, I have found at the Mind charity shop some brand new Kate Spade boots and bags.
Of course, like in many charity shops in London, there are the usual high-street brands at Mind, but I have spotted some delicious Coach shoes and Adidas T-shirts that were basically brand new.

Best Charity Shops in London: All Dogs Matter

Out of all the charity shops in Muswell Hill, All Dogs Matter probably is the one that looks the most like a usual charity shop, much less like a boutique.
Fully stocked with countless men’s and women’s clothes, and a great selection of shoes, All Dogs Matter is run by a super friendly staff.
No kidding, the women running the Muswell Hill charity shop are smiley and lively, which makes a big difference when you go charity shopping in London.
Given the way the North London charity shop is sorted, that is the one I liked the least, but I am sure there are lots of amazing gems to find among the secondhand clothes at All Dogs Matter.

The Muswell Hill charity shop has countless designer clothes and shoes on offer, and every item is clearly sorted by color scheme.
I have found a lot of Office shoes at Boutique by Shelter, along with bigger brand names at a ridiculously low price.
Boutique by Shelter definitely is one of the best charity shops in Muswell Hill for whoever likes finding discounted, almost brand new designer clothes on the cheap.
Plus, it’s located next to the Oxfam bookshop, so you can really have a charity shopping spree when you visit Muswell Hill.

Since it’s located on Muswell Hill Broadway along with lots of other Muswell Hill charity shops, it’s worth a visit.
The Sue Ryder charity shop is a bit on the pricier side, but you will find there some really clean, brand new and preloved designer clothes.

I have found men’s hats and bags, and lots of female shoes in this charity shop. Really a clean shop, and almost put together like a cute boutique.

The North London Hospice is probably one of the best charity shops in London if you’re the kind of person who likes vintage shopping.

I have found some great brands there, and if you’re looking for the best things to buy in London, a little visit to the North London Hospice would be perfect to unwind.
