I’m always on the lookout for the best charity shops in London: it’s simple, I love thrift shopping, charity shopping, or whatever you want to call it.
Today, I felt like sharing with you the ultimate guide to the best charity shops in Camden Town; all the secondhand shops on Camden High Street, Parkway, and a bit closer to Primrose Hill as well.
I love going charity shopping in London almost as much as I like finding new scented candle brands, and I’ve actually already shared with you some of my favorite charity shops in London here.
11 Best Charity Shops in Camden Town – Secondhand Shops

I have already talked about the best charity shops in North London in several different posts, and it’s true I will be putting together the ultimate guide to the best charity shops in London soon.
But for now, I prefer focusing on building charity shopping guides for you based on location, because I know those areas very well, and have either lived there or currently live around there.
Some of the best areas for charity shops in London are Kentish Town, Muswell Hill, North Finchley, Notting Hill, Chelsea, Kensington, Bethnal Green, and of course – of course – Camden Town.
Since Kentish Town is super close to Camden, I have not included those charity shops in this guide, and you can check the Kentish Town charity shops in the separate post when you’re around there.
That way, you won’t get lost.
Now, I’m going to share with you all the best charity shops in Camden Town.
This includes the most famous, from the British Heart Foundation to Mind, Oxfam, and Cancer Research, along with some more underrated addresses.
Hopefully, you’ll find there your next favorite gems!
Best Charity Shops in Camden Town: British Heart Foundation

I said it in my guide to the best charity shops in Kentish Town some time ago and will say it again: the British Heart Foundation is one of my definitive favorite charity shops in London.
They’re just some of the best, with really clean selections of secondhand clothes, almost brand new books that save you a trip to secondhand bookshops in London, and overall also great homeware, shoes, and accessories.
Compared to the British Heart Foundation on Kentish Town Road, the Camden High Street charity shop is much smaller.
Yet, you’ll still find lots of amazing secondhand shoes, clothes, books, and jewelry in this shop – one of the ultimate best charity shops in Camden Town.

Best Charity Shops in London: Shop From Crisis Camden
When talking about the best charity shops in Camden Town, we often talk about charity shops on Camden High Street and oftentimes leave out Parkway.
Yet, on Parkway, the road perpendicular to Camden High Street, you’ve got a few very good charity shops that are worth a visit.
Shop From Crisis Camden is one of those charity shops in Camden Town you should visit if you’re after trendy secondhand clothes, accessories, and jewelry.
There are other bits and bobs, including some homeware and books, but it is really for the great selection of colorful and well-cut secondhand clothes that you’ll want to visit Shop from Crisis Camden.

Best Charity Shops in Camden Town: Mind

Mind in Camden is one of my favorite charity shops in Camden Town, and usually, Mind are some of the cheapest charity shops in London all around.
Except maybe for Mind in Muswell Hill, where I have found lots of quite expensive Kate Spade bags and boots.
Mind is one of the charity shops in Camden Town that mostly fits the label ‘charity shop’.
It’s a bit messy, filled with unlikely treasures that span from jewelry to accessories, men’s and womenswear, as well as a great collection of secondhand books.
My latest finds at Mind Camden?
The first two Harry Potter books at £2 or £3 each, absolutely brand new.

Mary’s Living and Giving Shop for Save the Children
In my experience, Mary’s Living and Giving Shop for Save the Children are some of the best charity shops in London.
I don’t see why it should be any different with their charity shop in Primrose Hill.
Let’s not forget that aside from hosting some of the most colorful places in London, amazing multicolor houses, and streets worth a detour, Primrose Hill also is one of the poshest areas in London.
And what do you find in the best charity shops in London, when you’re around posh areas?
Secondhand designer clothes, that’s what.
If you like browsing racks of discounted designer clothes, the Primrose Hill charity shop is a perfect spot to hang out.

Best Charity Shops in Camden Town: Scope

If you’re specifically looking for the best charity shops in London for secondhand clothes, you’re going to have to pay a visit to Scope Camden.
Located on Camden High Street, close to the Camden Bakery and Lumi Cafe, Scope Camden seems to carry mostly a huge range of clothes.
In this Camden Town charity shop, you’ll find lots – and I mean lots – of high street branded secondhand clothes.
I’ve found a lot of Bershka, H&M, and Mango at Scope Camden, so if you’re that kind of trendy person in love with anything similar to Missguided and PrettyLittleThing, that’s one of the charity shops in Camden Town to visit.

Best Charity Shops in London: Rock and Roll Rescue Camden
The Rock and Roll Rescue Camden probably is one of the most underrated charity shops in Camden Town. Located on Parkway, near Shop From Crisis Camden, the Rock and Roll Rescue shop is a music charity shop.
I’ve already mentioned in my guide to the best charity shops in North Finchley, just how much I love it when charity shops in London focus on just one thing, like Oxfam bookshops and clothes-only charities.
I do feel that going charity shopping is one of the best non touristy things to do alone in London, and shops like Rock and Roll Rescue show just how much of a local activity it is.
Rock and Roll Rescue Camden offers almost exclusively CDs, vinyl, and a small selection of secondhand clothes too.
That’s also one of the most local charity shops in Camden Town since it raises funds for local issues like homelessness and poverty. Really a cool charity shop in London for whoever is a music lover.

Best Charity Shops in Camden Town: Oxfam

Oxfam has always been, and will always remain one of my favorite – and one of the best charity shops in London.
That’s as easy as this; the collections of secondhand clothes are renewed very regularly, and they’re often very good quality, colorful, and trendy.
I used to live in Bethnal Green, near Brick Lane and the amazing Beigel Shop Brick Lane, and one of my favorite charity shops in Bethnal Green, I kid you not, was the big Oxfam shop on Bethnal Green Road.
The Oxfam shop on Camden High Street may be sensibly smaller.
Yet, you’ll still find in there amazing secondhand clothes, a lot of used books, shoes, accessories, as well as the fairtrade skincare and body care line carried by Oxfam shops.
One of the best charity shops in Camden Town, and a must-visit for whoever really is looking for the cheapest charity shops in London.

Best Charity Shops in London: Age UK Camden
I mentioned Age UK in my guide to the best charity shops in Kentish Town and even North Finchley, but I do think that the Camden branch is one of the most underrated charity shops in Camden Town.
Of course, it is located on Parkway, just a bit further away from Camden High Street, and the location plays a lot.
One of the charities in the UK that supports older people, Age UK Camden offers a bit of everything. If you’re looking for secret gems and stylish secondhand clothes, that’s a shop to visit.
If you’re looking for your next home decor find, you’ll also find some homeware at Age UK Camden.
Like I always say, ‘you never know what you’re going to find’.
And if you’re in one of the best areas for charity shops in London, you should definitely visit them all.
Also, Age UK is located not too far from the best Chinese buffet in Camden, Max Orient – a good stop once you’ve shopped all you could.

Best Charity Shops in Camden Town: Traid

Traid Camden has always been one of the best charity shops in London in my opinion.
The first Traid charity shop I ever visited was this branch in Camden Town, but one of the biggest Traid shops is actually in Dalston, in East London.
If you ever get the chance, that’s one you should definitely visit.
Why do I think Traid is one of the best charity shops in Camden Town?
Because the selection of clothes is always unreal, otherworldly, super stylish, and really affordable.
There is a mixture of female and male clothes at Traid Camden Town, and in both sections, I have found some really, really good fashion bits (as in, very artsy, not just any clothes).
It does look like your super high-end London charity shop.
Well, I’ve found really cool, brand new secondhand clothes at Traid charity shops, and I’ve never even spent that much on them.
There are a few other bits at Traid Camden, but secondhand clothes really are why you should visit this North London charity shop.

Best Charity Shops in London: Boutique By Shelter
I already mentioned another Boutique by Shelter in my guide to the best charity shops in Muswell Hill.
Well, if you’re looking for really clean secondhand clothes, used books in perfect condition, CDs, DVDs, homeware, and accessories, Boutique by Shelter is a charity shop to visit.
Located near Primrose Hill, one of the perfect spots for the most secret free views of London, Boutique by Shelter is one of the charity shops furthest from Camden Town station.
However, since it’s just a few minutes away on foot, I’d definitely recommend paying a visit to Boutique By Shelter if you’re after the best charity shops in London for secondhand clothes.

Best Charity Shops in Camden Town: Cancer Research

I really like Cancer Research, and the one on Camden High Street is one of the best charity shops in Camden Town.
I’ve always found that Cancer Research charity shops are some of the cheapest shops in London.
You can find anything there from great brands, secondhand clothes, amazing used books, shoes, jewelry, and anything you might wish for, really – except cheap scented candles, but there’s a TK Maxx not too far anyway.
Since I live in North Finchley, I’m lucky to have a few Cancer Research charity shops in North Finchley, Muswell Hill, Kentish Town, and Camden Town all around me.
I’ve shopped for a lot of amazing secondhand clothes there, and to be fair, they’re lasting me ages compared to the £1, £2, or £3 I’ve spent on them.
In the charity shop in Camden Town, you might find some slightly more expensive clothes, shoes, accessories, homeware, and kitchenware.
Indeed, the Cancer Research shop in Camden carries a good range of high street brands along with cheaper ones.
So, if you’re looking to do some vintage shopping, that’s definitely one of the best charity shops in London to do so.
