8 Best Halal Restaurants in Edmonton London

Looking for the best halal restaurants in Edmonton in North London?

You’re going to be happy you came across The Working Line today.

I’m always looking for the best romantic halal restaurants in London, and I lived between North Finchley and Edmonton before finally settling in Tottenham.

That was before turning full-time blogger and being a digital nomad again, though.

I used to visit Walthamstow and Enfield a lot, and I am always after the best halal restaurants in Enfield, Edmonton, and Walthamstow.

If you’ve never been here before, I talk a lot about halal posh restaurants in London, like halal steakhouses and rooftop halal restaurants in London with a view.

But today, I felt that it would be cool to share with you the best halal restaurants in Edmonton.

Especially since this is an area I hang out in most of the time, and have tried plenty of great food places there.

Today, we’re going to be focusing on Edmonton halal restaurants.

You’ll be able to taste amazing Turkish food, great Asian food, and more amazing food from very romantic halal restaurants in London, both fine dining and low-key!

I used to hang around North Finchley before moving to Edmonton, and I have been able to find amazing halal restaurants in Edmonton since I’ve been here.

From delicious posh halal Turkish food at Kervan to trendy halal burgers at Bim’s, there are lots of amazing addresses I can recommend for you.

Now, let’s get on with the best halal restaurants in Edmonton and around Enfield and Walthamstow!

Best Halal Restaurants in Edmonton: Kervan Sofrasi

I would say Kervan Sofrasi is one of the most famous halal restaurants in Edmonton.

Located on Hertford Road, it serves the most amazing Turkish food.

I have been given the occasion to eat plenty of Turkish delicacies now.

This is a type of food I absolutely love, and if you’re looking for romantic halal restaurants in London around Edmonton, Kervan Sofrasi is perfect for the occasion.

There are four Kervan branches in North London, with one in Wood Green near one of my favorite free libraries in London to work.

But since I are mostly around Edmonton, this Kervan restaurant I will mention today the place is the one there.

The lights are dim and very romantic, and although it serves alcohol, there is no pork on the menu, and all the food is halal.

If you’ve never tried a Turkish breakfast with eggs and sucuk, that’s something you should definitely try. Then, you also have pide, a Turkish pizza covered with amazing meat and vegetarian options.

If you would rather try halal fine dining style kebab, there are lots of grilled meat and wraps available at Kervan.

This is one of my favorite halal restaurants in Edmonton, with super friendly service – one of the first places to try in North London for Turkish halal food.

I seem to dine at Bim’s quite often even if I try to cut down on burgers, but this is one of the halal restaurants in Edmonton where you might take a break most often.

Why?

Because Bim’s, which is actually a French brand from Paris, offers delicious halal hamburgers that resemble a lot the ones you can find at McDonald’s, in a halal version.

There are a lot of restaurants offering halal meat in Edmonton, but with its Chicken Big Hack, Bim’s Stacker, or the Rosti hash brown burger, the fast grilled halal burger place is incredibly delicious.

Bim’s is a very young company that launched in 2018, and I love having a lowkey laidback romantic date there with my fiance.

The prices are very affordable, the food is delicious.

And with its location right in front of the Edmonton Green Overground station, not too far from Home Bargains (that I love for its utterly amazing Wickford and Co candles), that’s definitely one of the most accessible halal restaurants in Edmonton.

I do not know where to start when it comes to praising 6Burgerz in Enfield.

There are quite a few halal restaurants in Enfield Town, and since Edmonton is quite close, I happen to have eaten at 6burgerz a few times already.

I do not know how a restaurant can make such delicious burgers so fast, and, OMG, their Signature Burgers are stunning.

I usually get the Usual.

That is the classic American burger with a double smashed beef patty, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, gherkins, and their homemade burger sauce.

There are a few other amazing burgers, with a Full English breakfast burger that I have also tried and an Indian-flavored burger with a samosa on top – both stunning.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic halal restaurant in Enfield or something more laidback to eat with your friends, 6Burgerz is one of the halal restaurants in London with the best burgers ever.

I have also gotten a mocktail twice, and they are huge glasses filled with delicious non-alcoholic drinks.

If you like Turkish restaurants, I would definitely recommend Hilal Restaurant.

It’s one of the best halal restaurants in Edmonton, especially if you would like to take your kids with you or come with your friends. First of all, the prices are very affordable.

The dishes are wonderfully traditional, with a tinge of modern.

I love visiting Turkish restaurants because they are quite different in terms of decoration, and very warm, like Moroccan or Lebanese restaurants.

Hilal Restaurant is located quite close to the Edmonton Green Overground station, so you could definitely have a walk around when you’re done eating.

The place is beautiful and totally perfect for dinner dates with friends, especially given how huge the portions are.

If you would like to celebrate an occasion at Hilal Restaurant, that would definitely be the place to do so.

This is one of the HMC certified halal restaurants in London, so whether you want a Turkish breakfast, a pide, or a Turkish soup, this is a place to visit.

I mentioned Cobblers Cafe in my guide to the best halal breakfast in London, and that’s definitely one of the most amazing halal restaurants in Edmonton.

It’s usually packed with locals who know how amazing their food is, from French toast to waffles, pancakes, and of course, amazing halal Full English breakfast.

The place is really beautiful, clean-looking, and perfect whether you want to go with friends or your other half.

You cannot book, so walk in as early as you can, especially at weekends.

Halal English Breakfast is the dish I go to Cobblers Cafe for because I know that the meat is cooked to perfection with turkey rashers, beef sausages, and carefully cooked eggs.

There is something magical about a Full English breakfast that I have always loved because I was born and raised in France.

As such, I have not gotten the chance to eat a halal full English breakfast ever before I moved to London.

If you’re looking for romantic halal restaurants in London to take your other half on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Cobblers Cafe is one of the ultimately best halal restaurants in Edmonton, and you should keep it on your bucket list.

Buff Burgers is one of the halal restaurants in Edmonton that focuses on delicious, thick burgers.

This is one of the only HMC halal restaurants in London, so you’re sure that there is no alcohol or pork on the menu.

Buff Burgers has some juicy beef burgers on the menu, but if you would rather like a chicken burger or a vegan burger, they are also available.

That is one of the gourmet halal burger places in London, and the price follows.

At Buff Burgers, there are lots of ingredients in each burger, from tomatoes to lettuce, and onions but the highlight is the great brioche bun embracing 6-oz patties.

Their meat is premium; you can get Aberdeen Angus beef, lamb, chicken, beef brisket, or even fresh cod.

Smashed, sauteed, and caramelized, the ingredients are all carefully chosen and will make your taste buds dance.

I also know it’s very hard to get a halal hot dog in London, and Buff Burgers is one of the only places that make halal hot dogs, with beef, chicken, shish kebab, vegan sausage, or even kofta.

Just an overall fully complete restaurant that does deserve all the attention it can get.

In my opinion, Woksta is way too underrated.

It is not your usual restaurant at all, and if you are looking for the best halal restaurants in Edmonton with Asian food, you are going to want to try them ASAP.

Woksta, dubbed ‘stir-fry superstars’, offers healthy, fresh, and tasty Pan-Asian food huge bowls.

This is a place that focuses on big portions and tangy sauces.

Just everything I love in London, rice and noodles at the base of the recipes, and fast fresh food packed with flavor and beautiful ingredients.

It is, as I said, one of the most underrated halal restaurants in Edmonton. With beef, chicken, or prawns, you’re sure to satisfy your belly beautifully.

If you’re ever looking for halal katsu curry in London, you can choose your base protein and add-ons to your big bowl.

I personally can never finish my plate, and Woksta is made for people who want value and big portions in front of their eyes.

Best Halal Restaurants in Edmonton: Chubby Gourmet Burgers

In the past, I have written about the best halal burgers in London, and it’s time to add to this guide Chubby Gourmet Burgers in Enfield Town.

This is a small joint, very cozy, that offers really delicious burgers in Enfield.

All the meat is halal and Chubby Gourmet Burgers does not serve either alcohol or pork on the menu.

This is a restaurant that serves fresh burgers, fat and thick in volume.

I love any kind of gourmet burger that has juicy meat and handmade sauces.

And if you’d like to have a little something different from McDonald’s, KFC, or Burger King, Chubby Gourmet Burgers is perfect for you.

Also, if you want a meatless option, they do have a vegan burger as well.

Well, if you’re looking for halal restaurants in Edmonton for breakfast, I would definitely suggest taking the Overground to Walthamstow just this once.

Bru Coffee has an extensive range of delicious treats that range from sandwiches to fresh waffles and amazing handmade gelato.

I love Bru Coffee in Walthamstow because it is one of the best cafes to work in East London.

If you’re around this area, the place is quite big, and there are power outlets as well as free Wi-Fi.

Their drinks are delicious and I would recommend getting their Spanish latte – really sweet and creamy.

There are even gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and eggless options on the Bru Coffee menu.
