I’ve had this guide to the best halal Italian restaurants in London for a while now, especially since I’ve started living in London and Rome both.
While I think of Italian food as some of the best in the world, we are missing options for really good halal Italian pizza and pasta dishes.
It’s easier to find a delicious halal steak in London, halal breakfast or amazing restaurants around Covent Garden and Mayfair.
However, the halal places I’ll mention here today are some of the utter best, perfect if you crave a good cacio e pepe or Italian desserts!
15 Best Halal Italian Restaurants in London (+ Pizza Spots)

Finding a halal Italian in London is something of a miracle, or so it seems. There are lots of spots for halal food in Central London, we know that now.
Even in Soho and Chinatown, which used to be places where halal food was scarce, you can now find amazing halal restaurants like Good Friend Chicken, which offers some of the best halal fried chicken in London (for real).
But today, I really wanted to share with you the best halal Italian restaurants in London, so if you’re looking for delicious Neapolitan halal pizza or halal pasta in London, you’re all set.
In this guide, I’ll be mentioning halal food in Canary Wharf, as well as some joints in West London and halal restaurants in London around Central.
A little disclaimer before we get started:
As much as possible, I will tell you here if the restaurant is HMC certified, and if they do serve pork/alcohol.
As usual, I would always recommend calling or checking the restaurant’s website/social media before booking or walking in, as they can change suppliers without notice.
Without further ado, let’s get on and find you your next favorite halal Italian restaurant in London!
Best Halal Italian Restaurants in London: Fiore dell’Amore

I wrote about the best hot chocolate in London at Dark Sugars Brick Lane a few days ago, and if you’re looking for the best halal Italian restaurant in London, stay in Brick Lane.
At the beginning of the street near Bethnal Green, you’ll find Fiore dell’Amore.
Not only does this halal Italian restaurant offer some of the best halal pasta in London, but it is also, seemingly, one of the most instagrammable restaurants in London.
Flowers galore decorate this oh-too-underrated halal Italian in London, and if you’re ever around East London, you’ve got a hidden gem in Fiore dell’Amore.
You’ll find on the menu plenty of halal pizza and halal pasta dishes, along with classic Italian entrees: crispy squid, bruschetta, calamari, and Caprese all sit proudly on the menu.
Although the halal Italian food served at Fiore dell’Amore is classic, you’ll also find some halal Full English options on the menu – always good to know if you’re after a halal breakfast in East London.

Best Halal Italian in London: Adora Pizza

One of the saddest things about finding Italian food in London is realizing it’s not really classic Italian food, or to the standards of ‘real’ Italian food.
Adora Pizza on Kensington High Street, not too far from all the best charity shops in Chelsea, definitely is a halal Italian restaurant in London that deserves a bit of the spotlight.
On the menu, are some of the most classic Italian street food, with arancini and burrata.
The Kensington halal Italian food spot is quite affordable, too, and whether you need halal food, vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free, rest assured that Adora Pizza has all those options on offer.
I have not yet written a guide to the best halal restaurants in Kensington, that’s true, but the fact that Adora Pizza is so affordable already gives you a great option for halal Italian food in London.

Best Halal Italian Restaurant in London: La Fenice

Update: This restaurant is now closed.
Among all the halal Italian restaurants in London I’m mentioning here today, I have to admit that La Fenice in King’s Cross is one of the best spots.
Why? Aside from offering a fully halal Italian menu, there is much more than just pizza and pasta on the menu.
And that diversity is what makes me say that La Fenice probably is the one halal Italian in London you should visit as soon as you can.
On the menu, are fried tortellini, crispy squid, arancini, and calzone, with beef carbonara, a twist specifically made to be all-inclusive.
If you’re ever looking for halal places to eat near King’s Cross, La Fenice definitely is one of the best halal Italian restaurants in London.
Whether you want to make it a romantic evening or bring your friends, that’s a modern yet classic take on Italian food you should try. Pro tip: try the cacio e pepe, one of the most famous foods in Rome!

Best Halal Italian in London: Alto by San Carlo

Alto by San Carlo is not an entirely halal Italian restaurant in London, yet given the number of seafood, vegetarian, and vegan dishes on the menu, it is still a nice option to consider.
If you’re ever looking for halal rooftop restaurants in London, Alto by San Carlo offers outdoor dining on top of Selfridges, above Oxford Street.
The meat at this Oxford Street restaurant might not be halal, but the selection of 22 seafood dishes makes it perfect for whoever would like to taste some of the finest Italian food.
By the way, if you’re looking for fine dining restaurants in London around Mayfair with halal food, I have written a full guide to the best halal restaurants in Mayfair you might want to check out.

Best Halal Pizza in London: Pizza Pilgrims

Pizza Pilgrims was one of the first places I ate at when I moved to London in 2019.
If you’re looking for Neapolitan pizza in London, that’s definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in Central London and all around town, to do so.
For whoever is after the best halal Italian restaurant in London for Neapolitan pizza, the Westfield pizzeria is the first Pizza Pilgrims in London to have halal-certified pepperoni on it.
However, although cross-contamination is taken seriously at Pizza Pilgrims (meaning different utensils are used to separate ingredients), be aware that all the pizzas are cooked in the same oven.
Given how unlikely it is that any pork or non-halal meat may fall and touch halal pepperoni pizza at Pizza Pilgrims, I still chose to include it in this list of the best halal Italian restaurants in London.

Best Halal Italian Restaurant in London: Novikov Italian

If you’re looking for fancy, fine dining halal Italian restaurants in London, then you’ll be well-served at Novikov Italian.
Novikov is that fine dining restaurant split in two; an Italian branch, and an Asian branch that I mentioned in my guide to the best halal Japanese restaurants in London.
Although not everything on the menu is halal, and alcohol is served, Novikov has an almost entirely halal or seafood-based Italian menu.
Every halal dish is clearly marked on the menu, from the Australian halal Wagyu sirloin to the halal beef carpaccio.
For whoever is looking for a romantic halal Italian restaurant in London, Novikov is one of your best bets.

At Vapiano, one of the seemingly most famous places to eat halal Italian in London, both beef and chicken are halal.

Best Halal Italian in London: Sartoria Mayfair

It’s true that I have written about the best halal fine dining restaurants in London a while back, but I haven’t included Sartoria Mayfair in that guide.
With its ultra-central location on Savile Row, Sartoria is one of the halal Italian restaurants in London that offer one of the finest dining experiences.
While halal chicken and lamb can be preordered 5 days in advance, Sartoria Mayfair also offers plenty of vegetarian dishes that will satisfy any Italian food craving.
If you’re looking for an ultra classic halal Italian restaurant in London, Sartoria is not really where you should be dining. It’s much more than classic pizza and pasta dishes you’ll find at this fine dining address.
Rather, Sartoria Mayfair is one of the halal restaurants in London around Central that takes Italian classics and modernizes them with a touch of crunchy veg, or with a reworked sauce.
All in all, it is indeed one of the most romantic halal restaurants in London, if you have the time to preorder halal meat.

Best Halal Pizza in London: Zero Zero Camden

Zero Zero Camden is one of the newcomers to the halal Italian food scene in London. Zero alcohol, and zero waste – that’s the motto of Zero Zero Camden.
Located on Finchley Road in North London, not too far from where I currently live, the halal Italian restaurant offers a completely halal menu.
That reminds me slightly of The Great Chase‘s concept, one of the fully halal restaurants in London that don’t serve alcohol either.
At Zero Zero Camden, located in the 02 commercial center, you’ll enjoy some of the best halal Italian food in London.
Halal pasta, halal pizza, and delicious non-meat dishes are all recreated to offer the finest Italian food in the city.
Since it is completely plastic-free, Zero Zero Camden, with its halal Italian menu, really is one of the forward-thinking halal places to eat in London and one to support.

The Wellesley in Knightsbridge is one of the luxury hotels that offer halal Italian food.
Although only a selection of dishes is halal (pork and alcohol are both present on the menu of this Marriott hotel), there are a lot of great vegetarian Italian dishes available on the menu as well.
There are lots of halal restaurants in Knightsbridge, from Turkish restaurant The Mantl to Ore Cafe that I mentioned some time ago.
But if you’re after a truly fine dining experience, The Oval, with its local produce and halal Italian dishes is one of the food spots to try.
One of the most romantic halal restaurants in London, that’s for sure, and a dress-up restaurant where you’ll taste some of the most luxurious Italian food you’ve ever tried.
