When you come to Allpress Cafe on Redchurch Street, one thing to note is that you really come for the quality of the coffee.

Kahaila is one of the best cafes in Brick Lane, and there are no two ways to put it. I remember the first time I came to Kahaila, almost by mistake, by chance really.

The wooden, rustic interior makes Kahaila one of the most instagrammable coffee shops in Shoreditch, especially when you combine it with their Red Velvet and rainbow cakes.

Long & Short London

Hidden inside the Tea Rooms, one of the coolest markets in Shoreditch, Long & Short London is probably one of the most underrated and best coffee shops in Shoreditch, especially given its affordable prices.

It is one of the only cafes in Shoreditch that focuses so much on transparency and offers delicious pour-over coffee and specialty coffee.

If you’re around Brick Lane and looking for the best hot chocolate in London, and don’t want to go to Dark Sugars that day, you’d do very, very well to visit Long & Short London.

Best Cafes in Bethnal Green

Fcukoffee

Fcukoffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in Shoreditch to work and relax a bit because the atmosphere is just really fun.

It has that concept of ‘I don’t really want to be working today’ combined with amazing coffee, cakes, pastries, and bagels that are just delicious.

There are several Fcukoffee in London, so if you’re ever looking for the best cafes to work in London Bridge, you’ll find one on Bermondsey Street.

But Fcukoffee on Bethnal Green Road seems to be a bit bigger, and way less crowded when I want to find a cafe to study.

Located near Globe Town, close to Jambala Bookshop and Lama’s pyjamas, two of the best charity shops in Bethnal Green, Quarantacinque is one of my ultimate favorite coffee shops in Shoreditch.

We’re stretching the word ‘Shoreditch’ a bit here since we’re moving closer to Mile End, but I really wanted to highlight here one of the utterly best Italian cafes in London.

You’ll find there absolutely strong and creamy coffee, and the star of the show would be the filled cornetti, one of my favorite items to have when I’m eating breakfast in Rome.

Best Cafes in Hoxton

Friends of Ours

I’ve talked extensively about Australian coffee shops in London, and Friends of Hours in Hoxton is one of the best choices for you if you’re looking for healthy toast and delicious Australian coffee.

It is especially one of the best coffee shops in Shoreditch if you’re a sucker for instagrammable, colorful lattes, and probably one of the best hidden gems in London.

Lots of vegan options on the menu, and endless egg recipes that will leave you hooked.

Once you’re done having breakfast, something really cool to do in Hoxton would be to visit the completely free Museum of the Home.

I’ve recently rediscovered the Museum of the Home, and understood much more about London’s, and Europe’s past.

After which a visit to other free historical sites could prove of great help to understand how we arrived where we are today.
