Today, we’re going to talk about all the best fancy halal restaurants in London where you can spend the most romantic evenings of your life.
I’ve written a fair bit about fancy halal fine dining in London here and there.
Yet, if you’re looking to have a romantic date with your other half, I thought it would be nice for you to have all the best fancy halal restaurants in London at hand.
Posh, with halal chicken, lamb, beef, and sometimes all three on the menu, are amazing halal restaurants in London around Central, West, and East I want to share with you.
If you’re looking for the best halal steak in London, delicious halal Chinese food, halal sushi and dumplings, and more, you’re exactly where you need to be today.
Later on, I’ll write about all the most affordable halal restaurants in London, but for now, upon request, I have chosen to share my favorite spots for a romantic, fancy dinner.
London’s 9 Must Visit Fancy Halal Restaurants

Before we get started with all those cool fancy halal restaurants in London, let me tell you one thing.
I want you to be able to eat the best halal brunch bites or dine at the table of the best halal restaurants in Soho, should you want to.
As such, in each of my articles, I will tell you about the halal status of the restaurants, the meats used, and whether pork and alcohol are served in the restaurant.
I’ll tell you if I come across HMC halal restaurants in London as well, and this will be clearly indicated in the guide.
However, you should definitely contact the restaurant or check their website/social media to see whether the halal status is still the same.
Sometimes, restaurants change suppliers without notice, so it’s always good to double-check.
Now that this is said, let’s get on with the best fancy halal restaurants in London, for that posh and romantic experience you’re after!
Best Fancy Halal Restaurants in London: Novikov

Novikov in Mayfair has been the subject of quite a few guides here on The Working Line.
It’s not only one of the best halal Italian restaurants in London, but also a delicious Pan-Asian spot in Mayfair.
Novikov is, as you can understand, made of different restaurants. Both, clearly, sit at the top of fancy halal restaurants in London.
Not all the meat is halal, and pork and alcohol are served.
However, whether you want duck, chicken, or lamb, all the halal items are clearly marked on the menu.
And this, whether you visit the halal Italian part or the Asian part of Novikov.
If you want delicious, creamy pasta and Italian classics, Novikov Italian is perfect for a posh, romantic date.
If, on the other hand, you want an affordable halal sushi menu or Chinese classics, Novikov Asian will be perfect for you.
The Italian Novikov is one of my favorite fancy halal restaurants in London. With its Mayfair-tinted establishment, the lighting and bustling atmosphere will get you in love all over again.

Romantic Halal Restaurants in London: The Mantl

The Mantl is one of the best fancy halal restaurants in London for whoever is looking for grilled meat.
I’ve written about halal steak houses in London some time ago, and The Mantl clearly deserves a spot here. That is, if you like elevated Turkish food.
All the food is halal, and The Mantl in Knightsbridge has that same posh atmosphere that the whole area boasts.
One of the best spots for halal fine dining in London, and a delicious restaurant where halal steak, barbecued lamb chops, and coal-charred meats take all their flavor.
Dark and wooden, the inside of The Mantl brings it to the level of the best Michelin star restaurants in London.
Glazed meats, charred aubergine, lamb fillet shish – The Mantl recreates Turkish classics to perfection.
I have actually written a full guide about the best halal Turkish restaurants in London; this is especially important to me as my fiance is Turkish.
Over time, I’ve gotten to try lots of fine delicacies from Turkish cuisine, and The Mantl should transport you to that far-away, colorful country as soon as your lips touch your first bite.

Best Fancy Halal Restaurants in London: Zaika of Kensington

Zaika of Kensington, located close to the High Street Kensington station, is the sister restaurant of Tamarind of Mayfair, one of the best halal Michelin star restaurants in the city.
Zaika, although a romantic and fancy halal restaurant, still keeps it down compared to Tamarind of Mayfair.
With the entire menu halal, Zaika of Kensington plays on Indian colors and flavors, made posh for your belly’s enjoyment.
Tandoori seabass, lamb sheekh kebab, puri, and chicken tikka are all worked and reinvented in a halal fine dining setting.
I always think it’s quite interesting to find halal Indian restaurants in London that play on modernity since it’s such a traditional type of cuisine.
As such, Zaika and its elevated dishes should clearly make the cut if you’d like a romantic dinner with your significant other.
If you’d like a more affordable experience, Zaika of Kensington offers a deliciously crafted tasting menu with dal, lamb chops, griddled scallops, and exquisite chat.
One of the best fancy halal restaurants in London, as colorful in the locale as on the plates.
Modernized Indian food at its best, with plenty of vegetarian options available, and a fully vegetarian tasting menu.

Romantic Halal Restaurants in London: Mnky Hse

It’s pretty rare to come across Latin American fancy halal restaurants in London.
The only other one that comes to mind is Guanabana in Kentish Town, currently one of the best spots for a quirky halal brunch in London.
Mnky Hse is an upgrade to the South American scene in London, and for those after a halal steak, that’s a place to visit.
The entire menu is halal except for the Wagyu beef, making it even easier to enjoy the evening with your significant other.
In terms of romantic halal restaurants in London, Mnky Hse in Mayfair and its light jazzy background can certainly be elected as one of the best.
If you’re ever looking for halal food around Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street, and Mayfair, it will soon become your favorite.
The platters and ceviche, above all, are interesting dishes that will make your tastebuds dance. Raw crab and seabass ceviche, caviar, Chilean seabass, octopus, halal beef tenderloin…
Halal fine dining in London at its finest, accompanied a few nights a week by a DJ set that’ll make the evening that much more enjoyable. Alcohol is served at Mnky Hse.

Best Fancy Halal Restaurants in London: Zheng Chelsea

Zheng Chelsea caught my attention when I was looking for halal Chinese restaurants in London.
With its Pan-Asian mix of Malay and Chinese flavors, Zheng Chelsea and its dark interior clearly offer a posh evening for all romanticism-seekers.
It is, indeed, one of the best fancy halal restaurants in London if you’re after something in Chelsea close to Oxford Street and Marble Arch.
If you’re a digital nomad working in cafes in London all day and looking to really tone it down and relax come evening, Zheng Chelsea will be your happy place.
Chicken rendang, boiled scallops, deliciously grilled skewers, crispy king prawns, and surely, the halal duck will make you the happiest person on Earth.
South Asian, with Szechuan, Cantonese, and Malaysian flavors, the Zheng Chelsea menu clearly makes for one of the most romantic halal restaurants in London in a posh setting.

Best Fancy Halal Restaurants in London: Mamounia Lounge

It’s close to impossible to find Moroccan fancy halal restaurants in London – being half Moroccan and half French, I can testify.
It’s way easier to find French food than Moroccan dishes, and for that matter, only, Mamounia Lounge and its spicy menu are to be thanked.
Located in Knightsbridge, Mamounia Lounge offers a mix of Moroccan and Middle Eastern food.
If you’re ever after halal steak, their mixed grill platters, kafta, and shish taouk are a go-to find.
But since I’m a big fish fan, their grilled sea bass comforted by saffron rice is a dish you should try, if you want to go meatless that day.
If you’re ever after a halal afternoon tea in London, their Middle-Eastern-inspired afternoon tea plays on Lebanese, French, British, and Moroccan notes.

Romantic Halal Restaurants in London: Chai Wu

Crab and seabass dumplings, caviar, halal Wagyu beef skewers, and halal duck – Chai Wu is the master in terms of fancy halal restaurants in London.
A guide to the best halal restaurants in Knightsbridge is on its way, and best believe this halal Chinese place will be at the forefront.
Located inside Harrods, the famous shopping center filled with clothing and homeware, Chai Wu plays on natural elements for its posh decoration.
The interior is indeed a mix of the five elements found in Chinese philosophy, water, fire, wood, earth, and metal.
With all meats halal except the Japanese Miyazaki beef striploin, Chai Wu is a perfect place for that romantic dinner you’ve been looking forward to – or for those looking for an upgraded halal breakfast in London.
I love the whole Knightsbridge area, in which you feel good as soon as you walk around.
Filled with lots of independent shops and high-end brands, it offers some of the most romantic halal restaurants in London. And Chai Wu, on the 5th floor of Harrods, makes no exception.

Best Fancy Halal Restaurants in London: Madhu’s

Madhu’s Mayfair is described as ‘extravagant Indian dining’, and if you’ve been after Indian fancy halal restaurants in London, their menu is made for you.
A family-run restaurant, Madhu’s Mayfair offers the finest halal food in a colorful setting and a lively dance of plates. Spicy food is your call? You’ll love Madhu’s.
On the menu, Punjabi classics twisted with Kenyan notes – never-before-seen in London, although it is home to the craziest fusion restaurants.
Sweet, sour, ultra-spicy – samosa, paneer, chaat, and tikka will have you hooked.
Madhu’s has several branches over London, but the Mayfair halal restaurant is clearly the atmosphere you’ll want to experience for a romantic date.
The Dilly Hotel in which Madhu’s Mayfair is located offers a very stylish location, and an elevated, fun background.
Perfect if you want to take selfies before being taken to your table.
All in all, Madhu’s is quite an affordable restaurant, especially if you’re looking for fancy halal restaurants in London around Mayfair, Knightsbridge, or Chelsea.

Romantic Halal Restaurants in London: The Great Chase

The Great Chase is one of the fancy halal restaurants in London you can trust if you want to find an entirely halal restaurant for your romantic date.
All the meats served there are halal, with no alcohol or pork served.
One of the halal restaurants in London around Central serving posh British and European food, it is a high-end spot where you’ll want to dress up and enjoy the quietness of the area.
It’s still located in one of the busiest areas of London, Angel, which I mentioned in my guide to the best cafes to work in North London, study, or just chill.
But it has that high-end, calm vibe that you’ll love when you’re trying to celebrate a specific occasion.
The Great Chase is one creative spot for fine dining lovers looking for HMC halal restaurants in London.
On the menu are lamb and beef tacos, lamb rack, as well as elevated halal burger options, and delicious seafood plates.
It’s pretty rare to find delicious British halal food in London, and if you’re ever looking for a halal Sunday Roast, The Great Chase will be the place.
Do keep some space for their desserts, as carefully crafted as the mains.
