There’s something about being surrounded by books I love when I’m typing on my computer – especially since I’m both a freelance writer and a blogger.

Laie Llibreria Cafe is a huge bookshop with a few seats, and I’d definitely recommend coming here early in the morning to ensure you’ve got a spot to work.

Morrow Coffee is located right in the heart of Poble Sec, and while you might have to pay a little more there than you would in other coffee shops in Barcelona, I promise it’s totally worth it.

From the pastries and cakes to the delicious roasted coffee, there’s nothing you won’t love there.

Except, maybe, the opening times, since Morrow Coffee opens from 8.30 am to 5 pm during the week, and from 9 am to 5 pm at weekends.

Only during the week, though, as it gets quite crowded at weekends!

Buenas Migas has quite a few branches all around Barcelona, and to say they are some of the best places to study in Barcelona would be an understatement.

In the picture above, you’re seeing the Passeig de Gracia coffee shop, which not only offers some of the best breakfast in Barcelona, but also delicious coffee and brunch bites.

You can basically come whenever you feel like it – since Buenas Migas is open from 7 am to 12 am, you have plenty of time to really be productive with work.
