However, as digital nomads, freelancers and students (and especially if you’ve been in the remote game for some time), you know that sometimes, you can feel a bit misplaced if you just come in for a coffee and call it a day.
That’s why I do have my preferences when I’m looking for new cafes to work:
- I want to feel good in the cafe, no matter how long I stay
- and I also want power outlets and free WiFi as much as possible

Best Cafes to Work in Miami: Panther Coffee Sunset Harbour
First up, and one of the overall best places to work remotely in Miami – Panther Coffee!
I will mention two branches in this guide, and the first one is located at Sunset Harbour. Not only is it super close to the water, but Panther Coffee Sunset Harbour is spacious too.
And space is something us digital nomads/freelancers/students love, don’t we?
Open from 7 am to 7 pm every day of the week, this is probably one of the most laptop friendly coffee shops to study in Miami, simply because of just how many power plugs you’ve got all around the coffee shops.
Water, work until sunset, and delicious iced coffee? I say yes.

Best Cafes to Work in Miami: Sagrado Cafe
Next up, Sagrado Cafe on Biscayne Blvd is another great pick if you’re looking for rather spacious places to study in Miami.
The opening hours are shorter, since Sagrado Cafe is open from 9 am to 6 pm almost every day of the week (9 am to 5 pm on Sundays).
However, what it lacks in opening times, it does make up with the quality of the coffee and food offered.
Traditional Brazilian bites are available there, giving you a taste of vacay while you’re typing away on your laptop.
Another one of the best cafes to work in Miami, since you do also have free WiFi there – but it’s really the utterly charming outdoor patio that will make you come back again and again.

Best Coffee Shops in Miami to Study: Tea & Poets
Tea and Poets is very different from the first two places, isn’t it, what with its super colorful interior perfect to blog for a few hours or just feel more motivated to study.
Open from 11 in the morning, Tea & Poets closes around 9 pm depending on the day – sometimes later, which means you’ll definitely have plenty of time to work even if you tend to wake up late.
The South Miami coffee shop isn’t only a coworking cafe, though: this is the perfect spot to attend live music shows and shop for cute bits and bobs.
No matter how colorful it is, you will feel focused there – it’s another one of the best coffee shops in Miami to study if you want to get out of the house and feel the productive atmosphere all around you.

Capital One Cafe is not only one of the best cafes to work in Miami, it will also remind you greatly of a coworking space, period.
Opening times?
7 am to 7 pm during the week, with slightly shorter opening times at weekends, but still enough to really grind for a couple of hours before relaxing.

Best Places to Work Remotely in Miami: Suite Habana Cafe
Suite Habana Cafe is not the biggest cafe to work in Miami, that’s true, but it’s really a cozy coffee shop.
You’ll love it if you tend to look for places to study in Miami where you can almost feel that you’re at home.
There’s so much to say about Suite Habana Cafe, but let’s start with that: the coffee is delicious, especially the iced coffee recipes that are almost the signature of the coffee shop.
One of the most famous coffee shops to study in Miami, Suite Habana Coffee hosts countless freelancers and students on a daily basis.
And while the opening times are only from 8 am to 4 pm, for that type of atmosphere, you’ll want to get to this cute coffee shop first chance you get.

Best Coffee Shops in Miami to Study: Joe & The Juice South Beach
Whether I’m looking for the best cafes to work in Manhattan, London or Miami, if I come across a Joe & the Juice branch, I know I’ll be alright.
Same thing goes with Caffè Nero coffee shops.
It’s just the kind of really laptop friendly coffee shop, and the Joe & the Juice branch on Collins Ave is another one of the best places to work remotely in Miami.
Especially if you’re looking for cafes to study for long hours, since Joe & the Juice is open from 7 am to 8 pm absolutely every day of the week.
I feel here this coffee shop becoming a favorite of lots of people reading coworking guides on The Working Line, and you’d be right to pay it a visit.
Super comfortable, free WiFi, a few power outlets here and there… Again, one of the best coffee shops in Miami to study, work, and plug in your devices!

Best Cafes to Work in Miami: Panther Coffee Little Haiti
I said at the beginning of this guide I would mention another Panther Coffee, and this one is located in Little Haiti.
And while it’s the same coffee shop chain, it does seem that the decor and vibe of Panther Coffee in Miami differ slightly from one branch to the other.
This one is open from 7 am to 5 pm during the week, and from 7 am to 7 pm on Sundays.
Choose from a spot on a communal table, or choose a single table to lose yourself in your books.
Lots of space, and again, another one of the best places to work remotely in Miami if you’re a good coffee lover.

Best Places to Work Remotely in Miami: Vice City Bean
Another one of the best cafes to work in Miami is Vice City Bean, which is infamously famous for how welcoming the team is in regards to freelancers and their laptops.
At Vice City Bean, you’re able to work between 7 am and 6 pm every day of the week, so again, plenty of time to study.
At the border of Wynwood and the Design District, Vice City Bean enjoys a really central location that makes it easy to access.
Not the biggest coffee shop in Miami to study, but still, lots of seating space and a cafe which seems to be frequented by freelancers more than just casual coffee drinkers.
There are actually several branches of Vice City Bean cafes around Miami, so if you like one, make sure you try the other ones!

Whether you love bikes or not, you’ll love to work at Imperial Moto.
Okay, the opening times are a bit short; from 8 am to 4 pm during the week, and from 9 am to 4 pm at weekends.
However, Imperial Moto does make up for it in terms of amenities; delicious coffee (really!), free and fast WiFi, and power outlets galore.
Digital nomads, freelancers and students seem to have elected Imperial Moto their second home, and if you’re looking to be really productive with work, you’d do well to pay it a visit too.

Are you one of those people who love finding new instagrammable cafes in Miami? Yes? But you want to work at the same time, right?
Then you have an amazing background at OTL, located right in the heart of the Design District.
Indeed, this one requires a bit more budget, but for that kind of atmosphere, and for the amount of work you’ll be able to churn out there, it’s indeed one of the best places to work remotely in Miami.
OTL is that kind of healthy slash hearty place, which means that you’ll find plenty of different kinds of teas, salads, and healthy bowls there.
All the more reason to really be productive with work from 9 am to 6 pm every day of the week!

Best Cafes to Work in Miami: Puroast Coffee
Now, if you’re looking for the best cafes to work in Miami late in the night, you have to visit Puroast.
Its opening hours are impressive, especially during the week – from Mondays to Thursdays, Puroast is open from 7 am to 11 pm.
Shorter opening times at weekends, since it opens from 7 am to 4 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but you still have plenty of time to do some good studying.
The atmosphere here is, in one word, green.
Friendly.

Great WiFi is available at Puroast, and while it’s certainly not the biggest study cafe in Miami, there’s still plenty of seating space for you to feel comfortable while working the day away.

Probably one of the most famous and best cafes to work in Miami, and one you absolutely cannot miss when you’re in town… Miam Cafe!
The opening hours are pretty short here, but it’s still a super cool laptop friendly coffee shop, where you’ll be welcomed gracefully and with a smile.
From 8 am to 3 pm during the week, and from 8 am to 4 pm at weekends, you can settle at this European-influenced coffee shop and bite in a homemade breakfast sandwich while you’re reading your emails.
There are plenty of cute cafes to work in Miami in the Wynwood area, but if there is really one you have to visit if you want to be productive with work, it’s this one!

Best Places to Work Remotely in Miami: Grown
If you are looking for the cutest coffee shops in Miami to work, we’ve got quite a few options in this guide, but Grown is a top pick too.
Located on Bay Road, the Grown coffee shop offers really good opening hours during the week – from Tuesdays to Saturdays, you can settle there with your laptop from 10 am to 8 pm.
Okay, if you’re looking for cafes open late to study, that’s not the one and you do have better options, but Grown has this particular atmosphere you’ll love if you’re there for a good couple of hours.
Whether you’re looking to work in a cozy coffee shop or would rather study al fresco, Grown offers both thanks to its really beautiful patio.

Pasion del Cielo is a top pick amongst digital nomads in Miami, and it’s easy to understand why.
It’s not just their single origin beans, to be fair, although it’s quite good reason enough to visit the coffee shop.
There’s lots of seating space and free WiFi at Pasion del Cielo – and the vibe is just chill enough that you can calm down if you tend to get anxious about work.
What about the opening hours?
Well, Pasion del Cielo opens from 7 am to 5 pm – and since it is so big, it doesn’t tend to get as crowded as other coworking cafes in this guide.
In any case, there are a few different branches around town, but if you’re looking for the best cafes to work in Miami to study in a cozy space, the Brickell Ave coffee shop is probably a top pick.
