In this guide, as per usual, I’ll share the biggest cafes to work possible, but I have also included some coffee shops that are on the cozier side.

Not that many, as my favorite cafes to work are always the biggest ones, those in which I can come and stay for hours.

As a full-time blogger, it’s true I often forget myself during the day.

When I was living in London, Istanbul and Barcelona, and before moving back to Rome a couple of weeks ago, I would often wake up super early to get a seat with power outlets and I’d stay.

And definitely yeah, forget myself while working.

If you’re the same, keep on reading and you’ll find here the best cafes to work in Brighton and Hove!

First up, Cafe Coho is an amazing spot located on Queens Road, a bustling street on which you’ll find super cute architecture as well as other cafes and restaurants.

If you’re looking for a study cafe in Brighton where you can really be motivated to study, you’ll love the atmosphere here.

It’s calm, there are two rooms in which you can sit down without feeling like you’re taking too much space, as well as free WiFi.

Careful though, the WiFi at Cafe Coho tends to be on the disappointing side, so be prepared to either just come to read a good book or scribble on your notebook, or hotspot from your phone.

As in many of the cool cafes in Brighton, you do have vegetarian and vegan options at Cafe Coho, and the staff is probably the friendliest you’ll ever meet.

It’s open from 7 am to 6 pm every day of the week, so come with your notebooks, books, and laptop, and grind till you drop!

Best Cafes to Work in Brighton: Trading Post Coffee Roasters

Trading Post Coffee Roasters on Ship Street is another great spot to study if you love working in big coffee shops.

One thing to remember is that while there are power outlets and you can definitely charge your phone and laptop while working, WiFi tends to be quite unreliable at Trading Post – hotspot is the way with that one.

It’s open from 7.30 am to 7 pm, though, so if you have lots to do, exams to cram or whatnot, that’s still one of the best cafes to work in Brighton in my opinion.

I’d recommend avoiding coming at weekends if you’re trying to really study, as their excellent breakfast and brunch attract crowds of people.

During the week, though, enjoy how spacious it is and allow yourself to reach your goals!

Best Cafes to Work in Brighton: Pret a Manger

Pret a Manger is one of the coolest study cafe chains simply because of their monthly subscription, and while the latter has increased in price, it’s still pretty cheap.

Especially if you tend to drink 367 coffees when you’re writing, studying, or reading.

The Pret a Manger on North Street opens from 7.30 am to 5 pm almost every day, and again, you have one of the most spacious cafes to work in Brighton.
