6 Must-Have Nude MAC Satin Lipstick Swatches + Review

The six MAC satin lipsticks I’ll show you today are amongst my favorite nude lipsticks from MAC ever created – indeed, they suit most skin tones, and are both super pigmented and long lasting!

What more could we wish for?

While MAC has recently released their MACximal lipstick range, which I absolutely love, the Satin lipstick range is still one of my favorites.

The pigment saturation plays a big part for me, especially since I have a tattoo on my bottom lip and sometimes want to cover it entirely.

The comfort, then, and the fact that the Satin lipsticks slowly become matte as the day goes by, are two other reasons why they’re still amongst my favorites, even years after buying my first MAC lipsticks.

The MAC Satin lipstick range happens to offer perfect nude lipstick shades for all skin tones, from Film Noir and Paramount for medium and dark skin to Mocha and Spirit for pale and fair skin.

MAC Satin Lipsticks Review: Presentation

You will see six nude MAC satin lipstick shades in this review:

Most of them are pretty nude, as in brown MAC lipsticks, aside from Del Rio and Retro, which boast more red in their undertones.

With the birth of the MAC MACximal lipstick range, it seems like some of the shades, such as Mocha, have been discontinued in their former finish and turned into soft matte lipsticks.

That is notably the case of the Mehr, Twig, Sweet Deal and Soar lipsticks, all of which are some of the most popular mauve MAC lipsticks.

However, when you see how incredible the MACximal lipsticks are, you won’t mourn for too long.

Still, since the colors didn’t change too much (some of them are slightly different), you can still compare the Satin lipstick shades here to make your choice.

• Matching lip liners for MAC Mocha: Chicory lip liner, Auburn lip liner or Mahogany
• Matching lip liners for MAC Spirit: Whirl lip liner, Stone, Chestnut or Vino lip liners

6 Must-Have Nude MAC Satin Lipstick Swatches + Review

The MAC Satin lipstick range offers quite a few different shades, from purple lipsticks to ultra light lipsticks perfect to create incredible lip combos.

These six shades here are among my personal favorite nude MAC lipsticks for all skin tones, and given how pigmented they are, you can even just dab a bit of product onto your lips for the slightest wash of color.

Most of these are suitable for all skin tones, with Paramount being a perfect MAC lipstick for medium skin and dark skin, while, for instance, Del Rio and Spirit are awesome MAC shades for olive skin.
