Like a lot of people, I started out in makeup with affordable drugstore lipstick, Beauty Bay eyeshadow palettes, Kiko Milano lipsticks, NYX lip liners, and other Revolution eyeshadow palettes.

And before I actually became a makeup artist and started working at MAC Cosmetics, I was using all sorts of cheaper drugstore MAC lipstick dupes.

So today, I felt it would be super cool to share with you the best Makeup Revolution dupes for MAC lipsticks.

If you’re a makeup addict like me, chances are you’ve looked for Makeup Revolution MAC lipstick dupes more than once.

After all, Makeup Revolution sharpened its teeth on the makeup scene by releasing dupes of high-end makeup brands before creating its own products.

So today, whether you’re looking for a MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick dupe, or something similar to the Mehr lipstick or the Twig lipstick, you’ll hopefully find here all you need to fill up your stash at a fraction of the cost!

15 Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC Lipsticks

In this guide, I’ve tried to regroup all the best Makeup Revolution dupes for MAC lipstick shades that a lot of us know and love.

You’ll find Velvet Teddy, Lady Danger, Viva Glam 1, Creme Cup, Captive, and more in three different finishes.

To make things easier for you, I’ve written the range these Makeup Revolution MAC lipstick dupes come from; there are three:

All these lipsticks retail for well under £10 or $10, depending on whether you’ll get them in the United Kingdom or the United States – or somewhere else. In any case, it’s still more than half price off a MAC lipstick, since the classic bullet lipsticks retail for $21.

To the best of my ability, I’ve chosen really close, real, actual Makeup Revolution dupes for the MAC lipstick shades listed.

In one or two cases, the Makeup Revolution lipsticks could actually also be dupes for other shades as well (like in the case of Captive and Amorous for instance, or Russian Red and Ruby Woo).

Now that this is said, let’s get on with the best MAC lipstick dupes from Makeup Revolution and Revolution Pro!

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: Chauffeur for Velvet Teddy

The first Makeup Revolution MAC lipstick dupe I want to tell you about is actually one of the most famous; the Satin Kiss lipstick in Chauffeur.

It’s garnered much popularity on social media because it’s an almost exact dupe for the MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick.

It also offers a bit more comfort than the MAC matte lipstick, while still being that perfect mix of brown and pink in a super wearable everyday lipstick – perfect to dupe the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick as well.

I also want to tell you about another one of my favorite Makeup Revolution dupes for Velvet Teddy; it’s the Powder Matte lipstick in Teddy. I already told you about this one in my guide to the best MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick dupes.

With such a powdery, super comfortable formula, I actually prefer the Powder Matte lipstick to the Satin Kiss lipstick – but to each their own, of course.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Powder Matte Rosy for Mehr

Next up, you’ve got the Makeup Revolution Powder Matte lipstick Rosy, which is a good dupe for the MAC Mehr lipstick. You’ve got a deep pink color which looks a bit more blue-toned depending on the skin tone.

Come to think of it, if you’ve also been looking at the Powder Kiss lipstick in A Little Tamed, the Makeup Revolution dupe could also be a great pick as a replacement for A Little Tamed.

It depends on your skin tone, as there’s more red in A Little Tamed than in Mehr, after all.

In any case, you’ve got a really comfortable, powdery matte finish, so if you’re a sucker for matte lipsticks, you’re bound to love this one.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: TGIF for Antique Velvet

Then, you’ve got another one of my favorite Makeup Revolution dupes for the MAC Antique Velvet lipstick in the Satin Kiss TGIF shade.

I love super dark MAC brown lipsticks, and Antique Velvet was one of my very first lipsticks from the brand. Stunningly matte with a super pigmented color, it was my first love and I still love it very much.

If you don’t want to splurge or want to try something new, the Makeup Revolution Satin Kiss TGIF lipstick offers a more comfortable finish than the MAC Antique Velvet lipstick, with still the same kind of reddish, chocolate brown undertone.

Best Makeup Revolution MAC Lipstick Dupes: New Neutral Stiletto for Ruby Woo

I talked about one of the best MAC Ruby Woo lipstick dupes with one of the Kiko Gossamer lipsticks some time ago, and if you’re looking for something even cheaper, you’ve got the Revolution Pro New Neutral lipstick in the shade Stiletto.

The New Neutral lipstick range offers a satin matte finish, super comfortable, and the blue-toned, bright red of the Stiletto lipstick is an almost perfect match for the MAC Ruby Woo lipstick.

Perfect on every skin tone, and if you’ve got the Barry M Red lip liner, you’ve got the perfect MAC Cherry lip liner dupe to match the Makeup Revolution dupe.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: Satin Kiss Rosé for Retro

Don’t mistake the shade Rosé from the Satin Kiss range for the shade Rosy from the Powder Matte range; they’re really different and don’t match each other at all.

I’ve told you time and time again that the MAC Retro lipstick is one of my favorite MAC Satin lipsticks; simply because it’s a muted brownish red that matches a lot of skin tones.

And come to think of it, I think the Satin Kiss Rosé lipstick could even be a good dupe for Del Rio and Captive depending on your skin tone. That kind of muted shade can look one way or the other, so it’s a bit harder to rate it as the perfect dupe, to be fair.

Whether you have Indian or Asian skin, medium skin, or fair skin looking for some kind of burgundy MAC lipstick, it looks stunning.

If you’re looking for Makeup Revolution dupes for the MAC Retro lipstick, you’ve got a really good one with the Satin Kiss Rosé lipstick.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes MAC Lipstick: New Neutral Thirst for Captive

A bit of a long shot with this one; it’s not that easy to find MAC Captive lipstick dupes for real.

If you take a look at the Revolution Pro New Neutral lipstick in the shade Thirst, you’ll find a big similarity with the MAC Captive lipstick shade (as well as the MAC Rebel lipstick, but the Makeup Revolution lipstick is much darker than Rebel).

They’re both a kind of darkish berry lipstick shade, but while Captive has more pink in the shade, the Makeup Revolution dupe is more purple and a tad darker.

Depending on the skin tone, you can still definitely make the Revolution Pro Thirst lipstick work as a dupe, especially if you’ve got medium to dark skin.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: New Neutral Velvet for Twig

Then, if you’re ever looking for MAC Twig lipstick dupes, you can take a look at the Revolution Pro New Neutral lipstick in the shade Velvet.

To be honest, I feel like the Revolution Pro Velvet lipstick could also very well pass for the MAC Mehr lipstick.

Yet, it’s got a pinkish-brown shade that doesn’t give way to questions – it’s almost literally the same shade as the MAC Twig lipstick, only in a matte version.

Again, perfect for every type of skin tone, and stunning whether you want to wear it on its own, with some kind of dark green eyeshadow, or even just a bit of eyeliner.

Best Makeup Revolution MAC Lipstick Dupes: New Neutral Vamped for Viva Glam 1

I love, love, love the MAC Viva Glam 1 lipstick – it’s one of the best MAC matte lipsticks of all time whether you’re super pale or super dark.

And one of the best Makeup Revolution dupes for the MAC Viva Glam 1 lipstick is the Revolution Pro New Neutral lipstick in the shade Vamped.

That right there is one of the best drugstore lipstick dupes for MAC, that’s a fact. The Revolution Pro Vamped lipstick is slightly darker than Viva Glam 1, but really only slightly.

To be fair, it could actually also be a dupe for the MAC Diva lipstick, but I do think it’s closer to Viva Glam 1 on most skin tones.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: New Neutral Stripped for Creme Cup

I seem to find lots of MAC Creme Cup lipstick dupes these days, and my latest find is the Revolution Pro New Neutral lipstick in the shade Stripped.

Creme Cup is part of the Cremesheen range, which only boasts a few shades in the United States now – there are many more shades in the UK and Europe with a Cremesheen finish.

You can wear Creme Cup with many different lip liners, from the Whirl lip liner to the Soar lip liner, and create stunning MAC lipstick and liner combos with it as it’s very versatile.

And Stripped, of the best Makeup Revolution dupes for the MAC Creme Cup lipstick, might be in a matte finish, but you still have that light blue-toned pink base to wear with lipgloss on top, with a lip liner on the edges and some blue eyeshadow or just some eyeliner.

Best MAC Lipstick Dupes Makeup Revolution: Satin Kiss Decadence for Lady Danger

We’ve got a great MAC Lady Danger lipstick dupe with the Makeup Revolution Satin Kiss lipstick in the shade Decadence.

Actually, there could be another one as well, the Powder Matte lipstick in Captivate, but I do think that the Satin Kiss Decadence lipstick matches the orange essence of Lady Danger even better.

It does feel like a lot of Makeup Revolution dupes for MAC lipsticks come from the Satin Kiss range, but it’s even better as they’re really comfortable and long-lasting considering the price point.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: Satin Kiss Cutie for Candy Yum-Yum

Bit of a long shot with the Makeup Revolution Satin Kiss lipstick in Cutie, which I think is some kind of MAC Candy Yum Yum dupe. I’ve been looking for good dupes of the Candy Yum Yum lipstick, and believe me, it’s not the easiest task.

Where MAC Candy Yum Yum is a real neon pink lipstick, the Makeup Revolution Cutie lipstick is a bit less neon, a bit more wearable, if I dare say it.

On fair skin tones, you won’t notice the difference too much; it’s on darker skin tones that you’ll see the undertone is slightly different.

Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Satin Kiss Ruby for Russian Red

We’ve seen the shade Stiletto from the New Neutral lipsticks earlier, and now we’ve got the Makeup Revolution Satin Kiss Ruby lipstick, which seems to me like the perfect MAC Russian Red lipstick dupe.

For starters, you’ve got a good ratio of brown to blue in the Russian Red, which is just a tad lighter and more blue than the Viva Glam 1 lipstick, one of my ultimate favorite MAC red lipsticks.

And the Satin Kiss Ruby lipstick does match the tonality of the MAC Russian Red lipstick, meaning whether you’re blonde, a redhead, or have Indian skin or dark skin, it’s going to look amazing – match it with the Cherry lip liner or one of its dupes.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: Satin Kiss Fling for Taupe

I love taupe lipsticks, and I’ve wondered many times why the MAC Taupe lipstick is actually warm-toned when it should be, by definition, a greyish brown kind of color.

In any case, if you’re looking for Makeup Revolution dupes for the MAC Taupe lipstick, you’ve got the Satin Kiss lipstick in Fling.

I also think the Satin Kiss Fling lipstick could be a good dupe for the MAC Mocha lipstick if that’s one you’re used to wearing.

Anyway, you’ve got a mid-tone warm brown nude, and if you’ve been eyeing Mocha or Taupe, you’ve got a beautiful nude lipstick with the Makeup Revolution shade.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Satin Kiss Vampire for Diva

We’ll talk about a MAC Sin lipstick dupe right below, but if you’re looking for Makeup Revolution dupes for MAC Diva, you’ve got the Satin Kiss lipstick in the shade Vampire.

They’re just a tad different, but the Satin Kiss Vampire lipstick is really the closest Makeup Revolution MAC lipstick dupe you can find for Diva.

Both have a good red undertone, are dark enough to suit every skin tone from Asian skin to really pale skin, and they’re perfect if you like winter MAC lipsticks but don’t want to splurge.

Best Makeup Revolution Dupes for MAC: Powder Matte Ornate for Sin

The MAC Sin lipstick is probably one of the most famous burgundy MAC lipstick shades, and it’s easy to understand why – whether you’re a redhead or have super dark skin, it’s one of the most versatile dark MAC lipsticks.

If you’re looking for Makeup Revolution dupes for the MAC Sin lipstick, you’ve got the shade Ornate in the Powder Matte range.

Like the two other shades I’ve mentioned at the beginning of this post, the Powder Matte Ornate lipstick has a really pigmented, yet super comfortable matte finish and would look stunning with a dark MAC lip liner like Nightmoth.
