Today, we’re introducing yet another brand on The Working Line, with the best Wet n Wild dupes for MAC lipsticks. It’s a guide I’ve been meaning to write for quite some time now.
We’ll focus on the Megalast range, since it’s in this range that you’ll find a lot of Wet and Wild lipstick dupes for MAC lipsticks like Ruby Woo, Russian Red, Diva, or the Whirl lipstick.
You might already have seen two shades here, the Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks in Bare it All and Skin-ny Dipping, since they are almost perfect MAC Velvet Teddy dupes, and Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick dupes as well.

I’ve loved the Wet n Wild lipstick formula ever since I can remember.
About 5 years ago, when I got into makeup and decided to get my certification to be a makeup artist, I was already using some of the best Wet and Wild lipstick colors, like Into the Flesh, Wine Room, or Cinnamon Spice.
I’m talking about the Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks since they were the only ones easy to get when I used to live in France.
In the USA, I know you can find the Wet n Wild lipsticks quite anywhere, from dollar stores to Walmart, and in the UK, Wet n Wild is available at Boots, one of the most famous makeup shops.
It seems like there are a lot of Wet n Wild dupes for MAC lipsticks in the Megalast range – it used to be much bigger, but a lot of the shades have been discontinued over the years.
For instance, Sugar Plum Fairy, which used to be one of the best MAC Rebel lipstick dupes, has been discontinued, In the Flesh as well, as has Coraline, which was good for the MAC So Chaud lipstick, or even close to Lady Danger.
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks Formula
The Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks have a ‘longlasting, semi-matte lipstick’ formula infused with hyaluronic acid, argan oil, sunflower, and passionfruit seed oils as well as Vitamins A & E.
They’re really comfortable matte lipsticks, and the formula is very different from any other matte lipstick I’ve ever tried.
I used to wear them all the time back when the old shades like In the Flesh were still available, and before I started spending just a few months in each country I visit.
I’m not fond of the smell, but since it doesn’t linger on the lips, and these lipsticks retail for just a bit over $2, they’re a steal!
In this guide, I’ll tell you all about the best Wet and Wild lipstick dupes for MAC from Velvet Teddy to Retro, Paramount, Russian Red, Viva Glam 1, and many more – let’s get to it!
Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Cinnamon Spice
The first one we’ll start with is the Megalast lipstick Cinnamon Spice, and it’s one of the best Wet n Wild dupes for the MAC lipsticks Retro and Paramount.
It’s also one of the first shades I got two or three backups for, just because the Cinnamon Spice lipstick is utterly beautiful.
Of course, if you don’t want to splurge on MAC lipsticks (they do retail for $21 a pop, so I get it), you can still get a few different shades of the Wet and Wild lipstick dupes – and still, be under the $21 RRP of a MAC lipstick.
I feel like the Wet n Wild Cinnamon Spice lipstick is a better dupe for the MAC Satin lipstick Retro, simply because it’s got this tinge of red that Retro also has.
It’s also not too far from the Satin lipstick Paramount, although Paramount is really warm-toned compared to the muted Retro.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Wine Room
Then, another one of the best Wet and Wild lipstick dupes for MAC is Wine Room, and I’ve got yet another two shades I couldn’t really decide between.
The first Wet n Wild Wine Room dupe I’ve got is the MAC A Little Tamed lipstick, from the Powder Kiss range.
They’re both really pink yet have this brownish-red color in them, and the Wet n Wild dupe will be creamier, with a fuller color than A Little Tamed as soon as you apply it.
The second Wet n Wild Wine Room dupe is for the MAC Keep Dreaming lipstick. Keep Dreaming is part of the new MAC matte lipstick shades released sometime in 2022.
While the Wine Room lipstick is slightly redder and muted where Keep Dreaming is more berry, they’re still a good match in my opinion.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Cherry Picking
I talked about another shade of the Wet n Wild dupes for MAC lipsticks earlier, Sugar Plum Fairy, which used to be a perfect dupe of the Satin lipstick Rebel.
Since it doesn’t exist anymore, if you’re looking for something more wintery, like a berry lipstick, the second next best thing is the Wet and Wild Cherry Picking lipstick.
I’ve got two really beautiful MAC berry lipsticks for which the Cherry Picking lipstick could be a great dupe: the Powder Kiss lipstick Velvet Punch, and the Retro Matte lipstick All Fired Up.
The real perfect dupe is the MAC All Fired Up lipstick, since it’s much pinker, whereas Velvet Punch is much more cool-toned and resembles Flat Out Fabulous more in that fuchsia kind of color.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Bare it All
Then, you have the Wet n Wild Bare it All lipstick, which is overall one of the best Wet and Wild lipstick colors if you’re looking for a beautiful everyday lipstick.
If you’re used to wearing really nude, almost taupe neutral lipsticks, you’ll love Bare it All as it’s one of the best Wet n Wild dupes for MAC Velvet Teddy.
But that’s not all – actually, Wet n Wild released another shade some time ago which we’ll talk about later in this guide, Skin-ny Dipping, which is one of the best Velvet Teddy lipstick dupes.
That’s where you’ll see that actually, another shade Bare it All is perfect for is the MAC Kinda Sexy lipstick, much warmer, where Velvet Teddy has a clear tinge of pink in the color mix.

Best Wet n Wild Lipstick Dupes for MAC: Mochalicious
Depending on the skin tone, one of the best Wet n Wild lipstick dupes for the MAC Whirl lipstick is going to be the shade Mochalicious.
It’s really one of these brown lipsticks which can adapt to almost any skin tone whether you have Asian skin, Indian skin, or really fair skin.
If you’re ever looking for lipsticks for olive skin, the Megalast lipstick in Mochalicious offers that cool-toned brown that will make you look good on any occasion.
It seems to me that Mochalicious is just a tad darker than Whirl, but it does still have this quite cool undertone to it which makes it similar to the MAC lipstick.
A steal if you’ve been looking for Wet n Wild dupes for the MAC Whirl lipstick, especially when the price difference is just under $20.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Stoplight Red
I know lots of people see the shade Sasspot Red as a great dupe for Russian Red and Ruby Woo, but I don’t agree. I feel like Stoplight Red is, however, one of the best Wet n Wild lipstick dupes for both of them.
The difference between MAC Russian Red and MAC Ruby Woo is, in my opinion, that Ruby Woo is much more blue-toned, lighter, and brighter than Russian Red.
But they both have those blue undertones, and if you’re looking for the best Wet and Wild lipstick dupes for MAC Ruby Woo or Russian Red, Stoplight Red is a really great option.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC: Never Nude
If you like really nude lipsticks, you’re going to love the Wet n Wild Never Nude lipstick. It’s one of the best dupes for MAC Honeylove lipstick, which I absolutely love, especially in combination with nude lip liners like Chicory or Oak.
Never Nude is, in my opinion, one of the best Wet n Wild dupes for MAC Honeylove because it has this really neutral, brown undertone where Bare it All is more peachy, and Skin-ny Dipping offers this really cool-toned color.
Almost invisible on the lips, just like the Honeylove lipstick, and perfect if you want to create some nude lipstick and lip liner combos.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Skin-ny Dipping
Now for one of my favorite Wet n Wild lipstick dupes... the Megalast lipstick in Skin-ny Dipping!
It’s one of the newest shades like Red Velvet and Sasspot Red, and replaced a lot of the other popular colors like Into the Flesh and Sugar Plum Fairy.
The Wet n Wild Skin-ny Dipping lipstick is the perfect MAC Velvet Teddy dupe; they’re so alike that it’s unbelievable!
You’ve got that perfect amount of taupe, pink and beige in the shade and a super comfortable finish, and the color really reminds me of Velvet Teddy without a doubt.
Another one of the best Wet n Wild dupes with the shade Skin-ny Dipping is for Teddy 2.0, which is part of the Powder Kiss lipstick range.
While Velvet Teddy and Teddy 2.0 are different, I feel like the Wet and Wild Skin-ny Dipping lipstick works pretty well as a dupe for both colors.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Red Velvet
I believe the Wet n Wild Red Velvet lipstick was released just a few years ago, and was a new addition to the already very popular Megalast range.
I’ve seen the Red Velvet lipstick being categorized as one of the best Wet n Wild lipstick dupes for MAC Ruby Woo and Russian Red, but I feel like it lacks that blue undertone to be the perfect dupe for them.
Rather, I think that Red Velvet is actually a Wet n Wild dupe for the MAC Red Rock lipstick, which is a bit more of a clean, pure red.
Still very matte and comfortable, and one of my favorite Wet and Wild lipstick dupes for MAC as Red Rock is really too underrated.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipsticks: Cherry Bomb
Now, I know that the MAC Diva lipstick is one of the most popular burgundy MAC lipsticks, and there’s a reason for that – it just suits every skin tone to perfection.
One of the best Wet n Wild dupes for MAC Diva is the shade Cherry Bomb.
It’s a beautiful dark red color, not patchy in the slightest, and beautiful on the Burgundy lip liner, or some cheaper version, like the Barry M lip liners.
Cherry Bomb and Diva are really, really similar, and if you’re looking for the perfect burgundy lipstick for fall and winter, you’ve got a great one with the Wet and Wild Cherry Bomb lipstick.

Best Wet n Wild Dupes for MAC Lipstick: Think Pink
If you’re ever looking for a Wet n Wild lipstick dupe for the MAC Angel lipstick, take a look at the shade Think Pink.
I think it was released about the same time that other shades like Sasspot Red were released, and it’s clearly one of the lipstick colors I wouldn’t reach out for.
I have two MAC lipstick dupes in mind for the Wet and Wild Think Pink lipstick, and these are Angel and Snob.
Angel is part of the Frost range, which offers a really creamy, really gliding formula and a tiny bit of shimmer.
Snob is darker than Angel, much more visible, and boasts a more cool-toned pink. It’s part of the Satin range, which offers semi-matte MAC lipsticks in really beautiful everyday colors.
Both are kind of similar (long shot), and the Think Pink shade could actually even be one of the best Wet n Wild dupes for Creme Cup as well.

Best Wet n Wild Lipstick Dupes for MAC: Sasspot Red
I believe that the Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in Sasspot Red was released two or three years ago, if I remember well, around the same time we got Stoplight Red added to the core lipstick shades.
In any case, it’s one of the best Wet n Wild dupes for the MAC Viva Glam 1 lipstick, which I have always considered one of the best MAC red lipsticks of all time.
I have seen that some people see the Wet n Wild Sasspot Red lipstick as a dupe for the MAC Russian Red lipstick.
After double-checking, the fact that the color is a bit less blue-toned and darker than Russian Red leads me to think that Sasspot Red is actually one of the best Wet and Wild dupes for Viva Glam 1, which is darker and contains more brown in the color.
