Colorful Photo Spots in London: Kurt Geiger Shop, Oxford Street

The new Kurt Geiger store on Oxford Street is one of my absolute favorite spots in Central London.

I’m a bit of a collector when it comes to their bags and accessories, so it’s always fun to pop in and see what’s new.

When I shared my top picks for must-buy London finds, I mentioned Kurt Geiger handbags — they’re truly British and not something you see everywhere in Europe.

This bright, colorful shop is seriously Instagram-worthy and adds a splash of life to Oxford Street’s usual grey vibe. Definitely a spot to check out next time you’re in the area!

Most Beautiful Places in London to Visit: Uxbridge Street, Notting Hill Gate

Notting Hill is full of colorful streets, and while I’ve known Lancaster Road for years, I only recently discovered gems like Uxbridge Street, Hillgate Place, Farmer Street, and Farmer Place.

Some houses on Uxbridge Street have bright street art that adds a fun contrast to the neat rows of fancy homes.

You’re also close to Holland Park, where spots like Kyoto Garden and Dutch Garden offer even more beautiful places to snap pics if you’re into nature.

When it’s time for breakfast, Notting Hill has plenty of Instagram-worthy cafes like When Abby Met Claud to fuel your day.

This neighborhood is full of charm and colorful corners just waiting to be explored!

Gorgeous Multicolor Places in London: Barney McMahon Mural, Notting Hill Gate

One of London’s lesser-known street art gems is this Barney McMahon mural tucked away near Notting Hill Gate.

It’s easy to miss if you’re walking from the station to Holland Park—I actually did the first time!

The area’s full of cozy cafés, cute restaurants, and some fantastic charity shops where you can find secondhand designer clothes, accessories, books, and homeware.

But before you dive into all that, don’t forget to snap a photo in front of the mural—it’s a perfect little memory to take with you!

Colorful Photo Spots in London: Euston Road’s Mel Mural

A few months back, a new mural popped up on Euston Road — one of those hidden, colorful spots we’re lucky to have right in Central London.

(Quick heads-up if you’re thinking about living nearby: Euston Road can be tricky, and phone thefts happen — I’ve even had mine stolen there!)

The mural was created by Hazel Oakes and Melanie Saggs for International Women’s Day.

It shows a striking female face surrounded by flowers and trees, making it a perfect burst of color to brighten up even the gloomiest London day.

Multicolor Places in London to Visit: Conduit Mews, Paddington

Paddington’s already a pretty spot, but tucked inside it is Conduit Mews — one of those colorful places you’ve got to see at least once.

I used to work nearby and always loved how the old, uneven cobblestones mix with the bright, modern colors of the houses.

One side even has bare brick walls that add extra charm to this super Instagrammable little street. If you’re around Paddington, definitely swing by Conduit Mews!

Gorgeous Multicolor Places in London: Camden Passage, Angel

Camden Passage is a charming little street full of boutiques — from Italian food spots to cozy tea shops, plus plenty of cute places to grab souvenirs while you’re in London.

You might have seen the bright pink window of Badiani, an amazing ice cream shop, but honestly, the whole passage is worth wandering around.

It’s in Angel, near Highbury & Islington, where you’ll also find secondhand bookshops, bakeries, chain restaurants, and one of London’s coolest shopping centers.

While you’re there, don’t forget to snap some photos of Camden Passage, then head over to one of London’s best-kept secrets — Redemption Roasters. Their bright white sculptures in the basement make it such a unique spot!

Read here my review of Redemption Roasters, Islington, to discover its secret basement, its atmosphere, and my thoughts about the coffee and cake.

If you find yourself in Shoreditch, near Bethnal Green and Spitalfields, there are some colorful spots you shouldn’t miss — like Fenchurch Street, Chance Street, and New Inn Yard.

Shoreditch is known for its buzzing vibe, but there’s way more than just street art here. You’ll find markets, hidden courtyards, and pretty gardens to explore.

For mornings, don’t miss these awesome breakfast spots in East London:

  • Kahaila on Brick Lane
  • Aida Shoreditch (where you can order a cute pink latte in a fun concept store)
  • Fuckoffee on Bethnal Green Road for a cheeky coffee break

And if you’ve got a bit more time, head a little further east to Rinkoff Bakery in Stepney Green — it’s worth the trip!

Find here my full review of Kahaila Brick Lane to discover a wonderful rustic coffee shop with Red Velvet cakes, carrot and rainbow cakes, and delicious chai latte.

If you’re in Canary Wharf, Adams Plaza Bridge is a spot you’ve got to check out. Both inside and outside, you’ll find colorful places perfect for photos.

Inside the bridge, artist Camille Walala’s Captivated by Colour wraps the space in a vibrant cascade of hues leading all the way to the station.

Down below, the arches holding up the bridge got a fresh burst of color recently, and the way those colors reflect in the water makes for some seriously beautiful shots — especially at sunset!

The Wallace Collection is one of my favorite free museums in London. The building itself is stunning, and inside you’ll find an amazing mix of sculptures, paintings, silverware, and furniture.

It’s just a stone’s throw from Oxford Street and has those elegant Napoleon and French castle vibes.

If you’re looking for free things to do in London, definitely put the Wallace Collection on your list.

Gorgeous Multicolor Places in London: Aberfeldy Street and Dee Street, Poplar

I first spotted Aberfeldy Street in Poplar years ago while just passing through on the bus — and this colorful little street stuck with me ever since.

It’s a really local spot, with the usual off-licence shops, cafes and shops, and nearby on Dee Street you’ll find some murals worth checking out.

A few years back, the area got a fresh makeover, and the patterns on the buildings were inspired by textile designs, a nod to East London’s history as a silk trading hub.

Read my guide to Aberfeldy Street in Poplar to discover its patterns, street art, and learn about this secret spot.
