The MAC Blankety lipstick is one of the lightest pink lipsticks you can get from the brand, and that means there are lots of possible lip liners you can wear in combination.
I have always loved this Amplified lipstick very dearly.
Whether you have fair skin, olive skin or dark skin, the MAC Blankety lipstick is an amazing shade to wear with darker lipsticks.
Let’s see them all together!
10 Gorgeous MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combinations To Try
When you tend to have dry lips, you’ll find a lot of the hydrating MAC lipsticks to come from the Amplified range.
This range offers the same pigmentation as the satin and matte lipsticks, only, they’re much creamier.
When you start to have mature skin, the Amplified lipsticks are a great choice as they offer that hydration we tend to lose.
And since Blankety is so light, it suits most skin tones and is incredible with almost all the MAC lip liners for overlining!
Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Stone
Using the Stone lip liner with the Blankety lipstick is one of the best makeup choices you can make, especially if you have skin with cool undertones.
Make sure to really blend out Stone before you apply Blankety, otherwise, you’re going for a 90s/2000s type of grunge ombre lip.
On the eyes, go with something similarly cool-toned, like some mauve eyeshadow, or some classic taupe eyeshadow with black eyeliner.
On the cheeks, you can use many of the MAC blushes for fair skin, but either go with Harmony, a cool toned blush, or one of the very blue-toned pink blushes.
On dark skin, something more purple, maybe like the Heroine blush could look really good if you want to match the cheeks with the eyes.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Vino
The Vino lip liner also works really well in combination with Blankety, and instead of taupe, here, you have a dark plummish purple lip liner.
I love using the Vino lip liner on medium skin, as it really gives extra depth and a vamp color.
When you mix the Blankety lipstick with Vino, you’ll end up with edges that look a bit purple, like a mauve lipstick type of color.
That’s where using some type of cool toned purple eyeshadow could look really good, but a beautiful silver eyeshadow used alone could really look gorgeous as well.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Nightmoth
Compared to Vino, Nightmoth is much darker, a very black type of purple lip liner and is one of my top choices when it comes to recommending a MAC lip liner for dark skin.
Nightmoth and Vino will give roughly the same result, although with Nightmoth, the blend between the lip liner and Blankety will be warmer-toned, redder.
On the eyes, that’s where you can go with some beautiful dark red eyeshadow, of the type that matches both Blankety and the mix of both products.
Otherwise, a black MAC eyeliner will also work really well if you don’t want to take any risks!

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Soar
There are plenty of possible MAC Soar lip liner dupes, and I seem to find new ones everywhere I go.
Lately, I’ve found 5 new possible dupes for MAC Soar, but I have to admit that none are exactly the same.
And when it comes to Soar, the color is so special that all you want to do is get this one, and no other.
With the Blankety lipstick, Soar will give more of a mauve lipstick type of vibe, really wearable with some everyday eyeshadow.
That could be some pink eyeshadow, some really dark mauve eyeshadow turned into an eyeliner with Inglot’s Duraline, or again, some simple black eyeliner.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Whirl
The MAC Whirl lip liner is one of the best selling lip liners of the brand, and with its mix of brown and pink, it easily suits most skin tones.
Very dark skin tones will see the Whirl lip liner not show up that much, which is why I’d only recommend it up to medium and tan skin if you really want that nude effect.
Whirl and the Blankety lipstick give a pinkish brown lipstick vibe, amazing with some very neutral eyeshadow or something cool-toned.
For instance, we could make bright blue eyeliner work with this lip combo, although when I create an ombre lip look, I do prefer to have something really subtle on the eyes.
Another option is to apply the Whirl lip liner – or one of the many MAC Whirl lip liner dupes! – all over your lips and then dab on the Blankety lipstick.
That will give you a lighter type of pinkish brown lipstick, and allow you to do something crazier on the eyes, like some duochrome eyeshadow, some bright pastel eyeshadow, and many more looks.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Half Red
I told you about the Half Red lip liner in a review I wrote some time ago when I purchased a few MAC products in Barcelona’s makeup stores.
In less than a week, I am moving back to Rome and boy, am I glad I bought Half Red!
It’s one of my favorite MAC lip liners for fall and winter, and the mix of brown, pink and red makes it an incredible color.
A perfect MAC lip liner for olive skin and Indian skin, although it does look good on pretty much any skin tone.
With Blankety, it create a kind of different, grunge 90s ombre lip look.
If you apply Blankety on top of Half Red, you’ll get a kind of dusty pink lipstick shade which is banging with some metallic green eyeshadow, or some blue eyeshadow for contrast, and to stay in a cool kind of color scheme.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Plum
The MAC Plum lip liner and the Half Red lip liner look like they are part of the same family, with a huge touch of brown in the color.
Where Half Red is redder, Plum showcases a mix of two colors; brown and purple.
With the Blankety lipstick, it does make sense that the combination would look amazing.
On the eyes, some nice mix of purple, pink and brown lipstick would, hence, be a great choice.
However, again, if you tend to wear really nude makeup on a daily basis, the lips will be visible enough that you can really push the brakes on your eye makeup.
I’d go with some metallic brown eyeshadow, really simple and cool-toned, of the kind you can find in some of the excellent Juvia’s Place palettes.
Some of the Colourpop palettes I’ve recommended for blue eyes and green eyes also offer incredible everyday nude eyeshadows, and with that type of lip combo, that’s what you want to go for.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Beet
The MAC Beet lip liner is one of my absolute favorites, and when I found a Beet lip liner dupe for a couple of pounds at Boots last year, in the 17. makeup brand, I was overly excited.
Beet looks gorgeous with most of MAC’s berry lipsticks, but I have to admit that when I wear it, I only apply clear lipgloss on top and I’m done.
That’s how amazing the color is.
The combination of the Blankety lipstick and the Beet lip liner will give you a more raspberry pink type of color on the lips, without being full-on berry.
If you’re trying to get into fall season softly, that’s a good way to go.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Chestnut
The MAC Chestnut lip liner is a staple to have whether you have medium, tan skin, dark skin or are Latina.
This really cool-toned brown MAC lip liner lends itself nicely to all kinds of lip combos, whether you choose a red lipstick like Russian Red, Viva Glam 1 or Ruby Woo, or something really brown.
Some of my favorite MAC lipsticks to use with the Chestnut lip liner are Spirit, Hug Me, Velvet Teddy, Whirl, and of course, Blankety.
If you apply the Blankety lipstick on top of the Chestnut lip liner, you’ll end up with a dark pinkish brown lip color that will resemble the Whirl lipstick a little bit.
Careful when blending both colors – the tone is so different that you want the edges to be flawlessly blended.

Best MAC Blankety Lipstick & Lip Liner Combos: Dervish
The MAC Dervish lip liner is, finally, one of the most wearable pink lip liners you can choose to wear in combination with the Blankety lipstick.
Dervish is really pink, really wearable on a daily basis whether you have really pale skin (as in blondes or redheads) or fair skin.
On red lips, like mine are, the Dervish lip liner is not a useful purchase as it barely shows up – unless you are starting out in makeup or love nude lip colors, that’s not the one for you.
However, with Blankety, it’s really easy to use, no stress, and all you have to do is apply some colorful mascara if you want to elevate your makeup game.
With the Dervish and Blankety lipstick combination, some purple mascara coupled with purple eyeliner could make your eyes pop really nicely.

I can’t stress enough how versatile the Blankety lipstick is, even if it’s really pink – many more bright MAC lip liners could work really well with it, provided you apply the lipstick on top of the lip liner.
I’ve always felt that the MAC lip liners are some of the best out there, even if I am also hooked when it comes to the Barry M lip liners, Nabla Cosmetics and the Juvia’s Place lip liners.
In any case, you now have amazing options to look stunning with the Blankety lipstick, so try out a couple of these looks and find your new favorite!
