16 Best MAC Blush For Fair Skin, Blondes and Redheads

There’s no way I could tell you what my personal favorite MAC blush shades are, really – probably the Extra Dimension blushes, which are something of a highlighter at the same time and can be wet to use as shimmery eyeshadows too.
There are several different ranges of MAC blushes available at the moment:
- Powder Blush: your really classic, very pigmented blush (can also be used as a transition shade for eyeshadow looks)
- Sheertone Blush: same texture as the Powder Blush, less pigmented, perfect for those who want a natural finish without having to blend out the color too much
- Sheertone Shimmer Blush: same texture as the Sheertone Blush, with fine glitter inside that reflects the light and leaves the skin glowy
- Glow Play Blush: one of the newest MAC blush ranges, offers a bouncy texture and can be worn sheer or built up
- Mineralize Blush: one of the most popular MAC blush ranges, perfect for dehydrated skin, sheer finish that can be built up
- Extra Dimension Blush: very pigmented blush which a shimmery finish, very wearable and can be used as eyeshadow
Between Pinch Me, Blushbaby, Peaches, and the incredible MAC Mineralize blush range, I’m telling you about 16 great options today, as well as the undertones and what you could pair each specific blush with.
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Peaches
Pure peach
Anyone looking for the best MAC blushes for pale skin should take a look at the Peaches blush – it’s a bright peach, almost coral type of color which tends to be oh-so-wearable during the day.
Even if you were looking for MAC blushes for medium skin, I’d still recommend Peaches, as it’s one of the most versatile shades we currently have in the brand.
Very matte, and honestly one of these perfect colors you’re going to want to wear as soon as spring and summer are around the corner.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Mocha
Soft plum-pink
The MAC Mocha blush has a true mauve color, with a tinge of plum in the color that makes it perfect if you’re looking for the best MAC blush for fair skin and olive or cool undertones.
It’s really easy to wear if you’re a redhead or a brunette, and of course, blend, blend, blend it out until it looks like a second-skin color on your cheeks.
You could definitely wear this one with the Mehr lipstick or the Twig lipstick, and just some black eyeliner.
I’ve found the MAC Mocha blush to be also amazing on medium skin and Indian skin too since it’s really cool-toned and contrasts well with those types of skin tones.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Pinch Me
Medium dirty rose coral
Compared to the Mocha blush, the MAC Pinch Me blush has much more red in the color.
It’s described as a medium dirty rose coral color, and what I see is a mid-tone pink with some red inside – not that coral, actually.
Also another perfect option for people looking for the best MAC blush for fair skin and olive undertones or cool undertones, although the Pinch Me blush also looks really good on Indian and medium skin tones.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Peachykeen
Very baby peach
The MAC Peachykeen blush probably has the most off description of all MAC products; some type of peachy rose gold blush, maybe, but not a baby peach color – at least in my opinion.
You’ve got a quite warm-toned blush with Peachykeen, which looks perfect with many of the MAC Satin lipsticks from Mocha to Film Noir, and lots of matte lipsticks like Yash to Stay Curious, one of the cutest Powder Kiss lipsticks.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Petal Power
Coral pink with gold shimmer (Shimmer)
One of the best of the best MAC blush for fair skin… none other than the Petal Power blush from the Mineralize range. OMG, how beautiful is that color – completely rose gold, slightly shimmery, and ultra-pigmented?
While MAC Cosmetics describes the Mineralize blush range as a sheer coverage that can be built up, I’ve always thought they were actually really pigmented; a little goes a very, very long way.
The Petal Power blush is amazing whether you’re looking for MAC blushes for pale skin, fair skin, medium skin, or even Asian skin. It’s just that pigmented, so versatile, and easily wearable on a daily basis.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Harmony
Muted rose-beige brown
The MAC Harmony blush is the only surprise you’ll have in this guide; I have never, ever used it on fair skin as a blush.
Never.
No, actually, the Harmony blush is the perfect contour shade for a lot of fair skin tones, especially on neutral, cool, and olive undertones.
I’m an NW15 in MAC foundation, and Harmony is indeed one of my go-to contouring shades. This also means that if you’re looking for some kind of transition eyeshadow, Harmony is a must-have blush in your stash.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Fleur Power
Soft bright pinkish-coral
The MAC Fleur Power blush is probably one of the easiest pink blush shades to wear from MAC – it’s a classic pink blush, really, and don’t take too hard of a look at the product picture for this one, as it’s nothing like the real deal.
The Fleur Power blush has some kind of really soft coral undertone to it, and it’s one of the shades you’ll want to pick up if you’re after the best MAC blush for fair skin for everyday wear.
Apply it lightly before work, and in literally 15 seconds, you’re done – it’s matte, too, so if you want to powder a satin lipstick like the Twig lipstick to make it more matte, do so very lightly, and you’ve got a matte lipstick!
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Just a Pinch
Apricot
I can’t even begin to explain how incredible the MAC Extra Dimension blush shades are.
I just cannot.
You’ve got some stunning colors in there, and the Just a Pinch blush is, just like it’s described on the website, an apricot blush.
It’s perfect for anyone looking for the best MAC blush for fair skin and warm undertones; whether you’re Caucasian or Asian, Just a Pinch is a shade you have to have.
During spring and summer, it’s also perfect to wear on the eyes, just for a bit of glowy shimmer.
While it’s really, really perfect on pale and fair skin with warm undertones, you could also try the light pink shade Into the Pink, or my favorite, a red-based coral blush, Cheeky Bits.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Melba
Soft coral-peach
Like Blushbaby, Peaches, and Mocha, the MAC Melba blush is one of the most popular blushes from MAC Cosmetics.
It’s a medium-toned coral blush, but much, much more muted than the Peaches blush, which is, on the other hand, brighter and more suited for warm weather.
The Melba blush is perfect to go with very neutral eyeshadows, but since it’s warm-toned, you could also pair it with some electric blue eyeliner or some soft peach eyeshadow and brown eyeliner.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Happy-Go-Rosy

Midtone rosy pink (Matte)
One of the best MAC blushes for pale skin… the Mineralize Happy-Go-Rosy blush.
It’s described as a mid-tone rosy pink, and it’s completely matte, as opposed to shades like Dainty or Petal Power.
Careful though, Happy-Go-Rosy is much more pigmented, and while it’s easily blendable, you’ll want to take it step by step with this one so you don’t overdo it.
It is also a great pick for anyone looking for MAC blushes for dark skin, Indian skin, and medium skin – and on my olive skin, the neutral pink shade looks absolutely dashing.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Frankly Scarlet
Vivid rose-red
Now, now, now – controversial, isn’t it, to wear red blush?
And yet, even if it might scare more than one makeup enthusiast, red blush looks astonishing on every single skin tone. It doesn’t matter whether you’re black or super pale.
Indian or Asian.
It just does not matter.
One of my ultimate favorite shades of MAC blush for fair skin is Frankly Scarlet, which happens to be out of stock pretty often.
You have to go in with a very light hand when you’re using Frankly Scarlet, so you don’t stain your foundation – it’s better to start lightly and keep building it up, and it’s always better to have to add more than to have to remove.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Pale Skin: Pink Swoon
Soft candy pink
The MAC Pink Swoon blush is one of the brightest light pink blushes we have from the brand, and it’s perfect if you’ve got pale or fair skin with really cool undertones or an olive skin tone.
Very matte, and the ‘soft candy pink’ description is actually very accurate, and perfect to wear during spring and summer with some kind of pastel eyeshadow.
I did find that on me, the Pink Swoon blush felt a bit too light, a bit too inexistent, but it does depend on how strong the lipstick and eyeshadow you’re wearing are.
Pair with:
- Lavender eyeshadow
- Grey eyeshadow
- Purple eyeliner
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Blushbaby
Beige-pink
Now, Blushbaby is another one of my ultra-favorites: it’s the best of the best MAC blush for olive skin tones, from super fair to medium skin.
What’s interesting about the MAC Blushbaby blush is how mauve it is – really muted, and very wearable whether it’s spring, winter, or fall.
You can pair it with some mauve lipstick, some dark purple lipstick, or some kind of cool-toned brown like the Whirl lipstick, some black eyeliner, and you’re good to go.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Gingerly
Capri bronze
I’d usually apply the MAC Gingerly blush on fair skin tones that tend to tan easily, as it’s a really, really warm-toned blush that can also suit medium skin.
The Gingerly blush is part of the Sheertone range, very easy to blend, and super wearable – just one of your most classic blush shades from MAC Cosmetics.
If you have an Asian skin tone, you can also wear the Gingerly blush without any issue, and you can pair it with a nice little nude lip like the Spice lip liner or just a classic warm nude lipstick, like Mocha.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Dainty
Light yellow pink with gold pearl (Shimmer)
The MAC Dainty blush probably is going to be one of your favorite picks if you’re looking for the best MAC blushes for pale skin and red hair.
It’s really pink and has some light-reflecting gold shimmer in color that just brightens up your skin straight away.
Don’t be put off by the fact that the Dainty blush has a pearly finish – since it’s from the Mineralize range, it’s really easy to blend out, even if you’re a beginner in makeup.
If you have dehydrated skin (the kind that needs to wear hydrating MAC lipsticks and the Face and Body foundation), the Mineralize blushes are the best, and again, the really blendable texture of the Dainty blush makes it one of my top picks for a lot of fair skin tones.
Pair with:
Best MAC Blush for Fair Skin: Glow Play Cheer Up
Peachy pink
There are plenty of Glow Play Blush shades that would look amazing on pale skin and fair skin tones, but I’ve chosen one in particular which is super, super wearable, and gives a really fresh look: the Cheer Up blush.
The shade oscillates between coral and pink, and I’d rather use it on fair skin with warm undertones, alongside some warm-toned lipstick or even just gloss and some warm neutral eyeshadow on the eyes.
It’s just that perfect MAC blush shade for anyone starting out in makeup, especially on redheads and blondes with really pale to fair skin, simply because it can be blended out very easily.
Pair with:
- Clear lipgloss
- Coral eyeshadow
16 Best MAC Blush For Fair Skin, Blondes and Redheads
There you have all the options if you’re looking for the best MAC blush for fair skin, blondes, redheads, and even brunettes!
I’ve applied these shades countless times on all types of skin tones, and in my experience, the Extra Dimension blushes, Mineralize, and classic Powder Blush ranges are some of the best from MAC.
And since I love multitask products, I’ve also applied a lot of these on the eyes as well, and the fact that they’re blushes means they’re less pigmented than your classic eyeshadows: that means they’re way easier to blend for beginners!
Until next time!
