We do have more than just one very good cafe for coworking in Paris as well, as the demand for coworking spaces has gradually gone up these last few years.
Still, the atmosphere of the city is much different than that which you can find in Pret or Starbucks cafes to work in London, for instance.
There, people come to work on their laptops without even wondering if they’re allowed or not.
It is also very different from the laidback chill you can have in cafes for coworking in Rome.
When you first set foot in Paris, you will understand why people say it is one of the most romantic cities in the world – because it translates even in the coffee shops.

Usually, when I look for a cafe to work in Paris, I don’t really care about the decoration. That will be the same thing whether we’re talking about Pret or Caffè Nero cafes to work in London, for instance.
What I’m looking for – and what you’re probably looking for when you study abroad in Paris is that the coffee shop is filled with people on their laptops.
We want a little bit of background music, great coffee, and nice decoration, although that’s not the most important.
This coworking cafe in Paris offers a very interesting way of renting a space when you’re looking for a cafe to study while surrounded by people who have an identical mindset of making it happen. For the first hour, you will pay €5 then one more euro every 12 minutes.
If you’d like to stay a half day, you will pay €18, and €25 per day (unless you’re a student, in which case you will pay €20 for a full day).

Unicorners is a coworking cafe in Paris that resembles the concept of Nuage Café, but it is just a little bit soberer and the decoration is way less old school.
The decoration definitely looks vintage, like the school benches we use to have when we were kids.
Also, the price is quite similar, and you’ll pay €5 per hour and €25 per day if you choose to work in this coffee shop.
Unicorners really has this atmosphere of a coworking space in Paris blended with a coffee shop.
There, you can just work on your own if you wish to, or meet and network with other freelancers or students who are there to make it happen for themselves as well.
If you’re looking for a coworking cafe in Paris, Unicorners is a great choice for whoever wants high standards and a very affordable price, and of course, to find the best cafes to work in Paris.
The great thing is that Unicorners is open 7-days a week.
Plus, it boasts all the advantages of a coffee shop with those of a coworking space. In addition, you can also rent a meeting room or hold an event or workshop there.

Best Cafes To Work in Paris: Anticafé
L’Anticafé is one of my favorites, one of the best cafes to work in Paris that I am very used to.
Actually, it is such a famous brand of coworking cafes all over the world that I even mentioned it as one of the best cafes to work in Rome some time ago.
There’s something about this laidback way of working when you visit Anticafé that really triggers all the creativity you might have hidden inside.
No other one of the many Paris coffee shops is similar to Anticafé, with its pay-per-day cafe concept. Basically, you pay per hour according to how long you’ll want to stay at the coffee shop to work.
Everything else is complimentary, from the coffee to the tea, the hot chocolate, the snacks, the board games…
It’s really the cafe for coworking in Paris where you’ll literally feel at home and will want to push yourself out of your comfort zone at the same time.
If you’re studying abroad in Paris, you’ll fall in love with the concept, as that’s one of the best coffee places to study in the city.
The first time I ever visited an Anticafé coworking cafe was actually in Lyon, in the South of France.
I loved how exclusive yet laidback it felt, and how easily you can make connections with other freelancers and students who are working there.
There are quite a few Anticafé cafes for coworking in Paris, but one of my favorites is Anticafé Beaubourg, which is right in the heart of the city – perfect for shopping once you’re done working on your projects, for instance.
This one is open every day except on Sundays, so you have plenty of time to make something happen for yourself.

Best Cafes To Work in Paris: Strada Café
Strada cafe is a coworking cafe in Paris located in the 5th Arrondissement (district), and it might be one of the cutest coffee shops to work in Paris.
I love the 5th district, with all its shops and quaint little streets.
I remember visiting this area very often when I used to live there, and if you study abroad in Paris, you’re going to want to work at Strada Café more than you will be able to keep track of.
The only downside to this café for coworking in Paris is the fact that you cannot work with your laptop there during the weekend.
It’s actually very understandable, given how fresh and tasty the food is at Strada Café.
During the weekend, the restaurant slash café slash cantine is reserved for people willing to try some of the best Parisian breakfasts in Paris, period.
During the week, the coworking cafe is perfect for people looking for a quiet study cafe in Paris. You can come with your notebooks, books, and laptop, and no one will tell you anything.
Make sure you order something to drink though, as the Parisian coffee shop vibe is much different from that you’d find in London, for instance.

Best Cafes To Work in Paris: Caféothèque de Paris
The Caféothèque of Paris is one of the best cafes to work in Paris and one you should visit if you’re looking to work or study with friends.
This is definitely one of the most beautiful coffee shops in the city, and if you study abroad in Paris then you’re going to want to work there with your study buddies or your earphones.
There are several parts to the Caféothèque of Paris, including a very beautiful plant-filled room where you will feel comfortable and cozy reading a new book or working on your laptop.
Not many coffee shops in Paris look like this one, and you will also be able to see some beautiful artwork or even discover old and new trends in coffee roasting.
I always feel particularly attracted to cafes that offer their own coffee roasting workshops, like one of the best coffee shops to work in Shoreditch in London, Look Mum No Hands.
However, like Strada Cafe, you cannot work on your laptop during the weekend.
Those days, you might want to turn to bigger coffee shops or chain cafes to work like Starbucks or Costa Coffee.
This one might be famous for being a coworking cafe in Paris but honestly, you might want to visit because of how vintage and Parisian the atmosphere feels.

Best Cafes To Work in Paris: CafeZen
If there is one coworking cafe in Paris that is still very much underrated, it is CafeZen on Rue Poissonnière.
To be honest, the second district of Paris is not one that I visit too often, what with sticking to the touristic areas and my own favorites now that I’m not a Parisian woman anymore.
In any case, whoever is willing to find the best cafes to study in Paris, you’re going to be well surprised when you first step foot into CafeZen.
For starters, this is one café for coworking in Paris that only locals know about – or people who have visited before.
Since the food is so fresh and decadent (order the brunch at the weekend if you can!), people usually visit CafeZen for breakfast, lunch, or brunch.
Little do most people know that is also one of the best cafes to work in Paris, especially if you’re studying abroad.
The coworking cafe is located in the basement of CafeZen, under the actual restaurant.
It is quite spacious and with a team so thoughtful and friendly, you’re bound to want to come back, again and again, to get work done.
Coffee shops don’t get any better than that when it comes to finding the best cafes to work in Paris.

Best Cafes To Work in Paris: Lomi
I feel like Lomi cafe is also one of the underdogs when you look for the best cafes to work in Paris. And yet, it is one of the institutions of the city when it comes to coffee roasting.
It is as authentic as coffee gets, and Lomi has now several shops all around the city.
If you study abroad in Paris, if you’re freelancing, or if you just want to go on a laidback date with your partner, do visit Lomi.
I love the 18th arrondissement of Paris because it is really lively, and I love working in lively coffee shops. That might be because I am now very much used to working and studying in Pret cafes in London by now.
Lomi also has its own coffee school, which is even more inspiring to know that you’re working with your laptop in a place where people actually make their dreams come true.
However, do keep in mind that Lomi coffee shops do not have WiFi, so you’re going to have to hotspot. Still, the space is pretty big, so if you’re down to just work on your notebooks or read a book, then you’ll feel pretty cozy there.

Best Cafes To Work in Paris: Le Grand Bréguet
When you first study abroad in Paris, it’s quite difficult to understand what the west end of Paris means, and what the east end represents.
Basically, it’s quite like London, if you’ve ever been there, with the East of Paris being that very trendy area with lots of small coffee shops and independent shops.
I used to do many photoshoots in photography schools in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, and one amazing coworking cafe in Paris there is Le Grand Breguet.
This is one of the biggest coffee shops to study and work in the center of Paris, and it seems to be specially curated for students and freelancers.
You’ve got lots of power outlets there as well as free WiFi, and several spaces that are all very colorful and lively.
The food there is quite delicious too, to be honest since Le Grand Breguet is one of the cafes to work in Paris where you’ll also be able to enjoy colorful, organic, and fresh bites at all times of the day.
But the highlight of it, in my opinion, is the ease with which you can connect with other people working there on a day-to-day basis. Best Cafes To Work in Paris: Starbucks Montorgueil
When you study abroad in France, one of the first and best cafes to work in Paris that you’ll most probably visit will be Starbucks.
One of the best coffee places in Paris, all areas put together, is the Montorgueil area just off Châtelet.
I really love this area because of all the small bakeries, supermarkets, cheese, and meat shops there are around.
Rue Montorgueil is one of the streets that embodies the Paris spirit more than any other in the city, except maybe Montmartre.
Starbucks Petits-Carreaux is a coworking cafe in Paris that really does the job whether you’re looking for the standard Starbucks experience or a quiet cafe to study in Paris.
I remember looking for Paris coffee shops where I could study and write after doing some shopping and buying branded candles at the nearby Bougies de Charroux and loved working there.
This coffee shop is always filled with people working on their laptops, which is understandable since Starbucks is definitely famous for being a laptop-friendly cafe in Paris.
If you are ever in London, Starbucks cafes to work are also quite famous, and it’s really something specific to the chain to have power outlets and free Wi-Fi in their coffee shops.

Best Cafes To Work in Paris: Hélène et Madeleine
We all know how much an atmospheric coffee shop can inspire us to do the best on a work day.
For that matter, Hélène et Madeleine, near République in the 11th arrondissement, is probably one of the cutest – and best cafes to work in Paris.
Open every day of the week except on Mondays and Tuesdays, the formerly called Coffee Spoune offers not only power outlets and great WiFi throughout the coffee shop, but a selection of ever-changing dishes to ravish all.
On the menu, you will find plenty of fresh, homemade pastries, deliciously strong coffee, and even brunch at weekends.
I wouldn’t recommend coming to study at weekends though, as Hélène et Madeleine gets really busy during those days.
The bookshelves and large wooden tables at the back of the cozy coffee shop are all the more reason to feel motivated and productive with work.
And well, honestly, if you’re looking for the best cafes to study in Paris, then you’ve probably hit the jackpot with Hélène et Madeleine.

Best Laptop Friendly Cafes to Work in Paris: Nomade Cafe
Nomade Cafe in the 11th district of Paris is another really cool pick for those looking for the best places to study in Paris.
The prices are quite affordable, and that’s all the more important since we’re looking to stay for a few hours!
At Nomade Cafe, you have several work spaces to choose from.
Pick a spot near the windows to get more light, or in the back of the coffee shop to study without being distracted by Parisian life going about in front of you.
Free WiFi, a few power outlets and homemade pastries and cakes – probably one of the cutest places to get breakfast in Paris and be productive at the same time!

Best Cafes to Work in Paris: Hubsy Arts et Métiers
One of the most inspiring options now, and one of the very best cafes to work in Paris with your laptop and your books – Hubsy Arts et Métiers.
That’s another coworking cafe in which you’ll pay for the time spent there, but everything else is absolutely, completely free.
That means free unlimited coffee, snacks, fruits, free use of the printer – and much more.
And why is this one of the best cafes to work in Paris?
Because it’s really easy to come in the Hubsy coworking cafe and just start working.
You only pay at the end of your session, and the prices are oh-so-affordable: 6 euros for the first hour, then 2.5 euros for the following half hours.
You can walk in for the full day too (a full day starts at 5 hours), and students only 21 euros for the full day – which, obviously, includes as many hot drinks and snacks as you want!

Best Coffee Shops to Study in Paris: Level Coworking Cafe
Level Coworking Cafe in the 5th district of Paris is another super cool laptop friendly cafe perfect to study and focus for hours on end.
The concept is quite similar to Hubsy, with one difference – while the first hour costs 6 euros, for each hour spent at Level Coworking Cafe, you’ll pay one less euro.
The entire day costs 27 euros full price, which ends up being 2.7 euros per hour – and snacks and hot drinks are also available here!
Another one of the best places to study in Paris when you know you have midterms coming up and can’t afford to be distracted from work!

Best Cafes to Work in Paris: 10h10 Coworking Cafe
Last in this guide, probably one of the most instagrammable cafes in Paris to study, work, and really be productive – 10h10, which boasts a completely vintage look.
No other study cafe looks like the 10h10 coworking cafe, and that makes it all the more interesting, doesn’t it?
While the prices are similar to Level coworking cafe, at 10h10, you have a much more homely feeling, with homemade pastries, yogurts, organic food…
In addition, you can use the printers, scanners, and even book meeting rooms if needed!
For freelancers, students and digital nomads, that’s definitely one of the best cafes to work in Paris and really get that grind going.
