I’ve wanted to write a guide to the best Bath and Body Works candles for summer for quite some time.
For months, actually, around the time I told you about the Yankee Candle Art in the Park collection.
I’ve been so focused on writing about plenty of MAC products that I have left aside scented candles for a bit.
Well, I have not forgotten that summer time is lurking, and where I am settled for the next few months, Barcelona, it already feels like summer.

What it smells like: the fragrance equivalent of your little black dress—beautiful, timeless and undeniably feminine.

What it smells like: a fresh, vibrant, happy celebration of everything you love about Bath & Body Works.
Fragrance notes: blue freesia, white peach, fresh clementine, violet and clean musk.
Another one for those who are looking for fresh and floral Bath and Body Works candles for summer: Gingham.
It’s really that signature B&BW scent perfect for both spring and summer.
In the blend, clementine and peach mix with violet, musk and freesia, giving off a real warm day vibe.

Best Bath and Body Works Candles for Summer: Pink Pineapple Sunrise
What it smells like: savoring juicy tropical fruits at dawn.
Fragrance notes: sweet pink pineapple, palm sugar and sun-drenched nectar.

What it smells like: a sweet, crisp, tropical oasis.
Fragrance notes: desert cactus flower petals, fresh sparkling citrus and warm vanilla coconut.
I mentioned Cactus Blossom in a couple of other guides already, and indeed, it’s one of the strongest Bath and Body Works candles for summer.
Not too strong that it gives you a headache, but strong enough that you can really feel summer vibes around you when it burns.
In the blend, coconut and vanilla are softened by cactus flower petals, and elevated with sparkling citrus.
Overall, a very energizing, feminine candle scent to burn from the morning to the evening.

What it smells like: cool, sweet and just so classic.
Fragrance notes: crisp cucumber, watery honeydew, summer cantaloupe, sparkling grapefruit and sheer woods.

This is an utterly fresh candle, with a dash of fruity, tropical notes and probably one of the dreamiest out of this entire lot.

Eucalyptus Spearmint is one of the most famous Bath and Body Works candle scents, and whether it is summer or winter, it’s a great one to have.
It’s part of the Aromatherapy candles, and it is a great pick if you really want to relax.
Honestly, I debated whether to include Eucalyptus Spearmint in this guide, since the flavors of the candles are so pure and Christmas tree-ey.
However, I do think that the freshness of the trees is actually very welcome when the summer air is already hot.

This is another one of the most stunning summer scents B&BW offers, with a mix of gardenia, greenery, a floral note of tuberose and apple.

What it smells like: a classic tropical cocktail.
Fragrance notes: sweet mandarin, island mango and sea salt.
I love really sweet, fruity candles – especially mango candles for some reason.
One of my first ever summer Bath and Body Works candles was Sweet Maui Mango, and I loved it so much I got the body mist as well.
With the Island Margarita candle, I find the same kind of really sweet, really summery notes of mango, mandarin and sea salt.
Well, I won’t make you wait any longer; this one is probably one of the best Bath and Body Works candles ever released for summer.
It seems like it has been repackaged for this summer, but the scent is the same kind of amazing, really mangeo-ey scent.

Best Bath and Body Works Candles for Summer: Lakeside Morning
What it smells like: cool, sweet, fresh alone time on the dock.
Fragrance notes: crisp autumn air, white driftwood and a hint of green apple.
Lakeside Morning is one of my favorite summer Bath and Body Works scents, simply because it can suit both male and female tastes.
In the fragrance blend, you have some fresh notes of autumn air and driftwood, coupled with tangy apple.
Which leads me to say that if you’re ever looking for Bath and Body Works candles for autumn, Lakeside Morning would also probably be a great choice.
