I’ve talked a lot about all kinds of Christmas Yankee Candle scents here, along with the most popular Yankee Candle scents of all time, and you’ve loved to learn about all the best Yankee Candle fall scents as well.
Now, you’re about to discover some really amazing scents released both in the two Art in the Park Spring and Art in the Park Summer collections, along with countless other additions.
As far as I know, all these new Yankee Candle scents are released for the UK and Europe.
However, you’ll find in this guide quite a few scents that fans of the brand have known for some time in the United States – Coconut Beach, Lilac Blossoms, or Mango Ice Cream, for instance.
Also, to be honest, a lot of the new Yankee Candle releases for 2023 also remind me greatly of fall candle scents, like Amber & Sandalwood, or Banoffee Waffle – you’ll see this for yourself in this guide, that I’ve broken down by scent family to make things easier for you.

25+ New Yankee Candle Releases for Spring Summer 2023
The new scents are announced in the Signature jars, which are slowly to replace the worldwide famous Yankee Candle jars we’re used to and love so much.
Not replacing them entirely, as Yankee Candle announced that the old jars would stay around, at least for some of their most popular scents.
New Yankee Candle Signature Jars
The new Signature jars (which aren’t so new anymore, to be honest) weigh 567g for the Large jars whereas the old Yankee Candle jars weighed 623g for the Large jar format.
The burn time is shorter too, with an estimated burn time of 60 to 90 hours for the new Signature jars (up to 150 hours for the old jars).
They’re also a bit more expensive, with a new Signature Yankee Candle retailing for £29.99 compared to £27.99 for a regular Large jar.
It’s really up to anyone to figure out whether those new Yankee Candle Signature jars are worth it, but since it’s been created to suit any type of interior, I guess it’s a nice addition to the brand.
I personally prefer the old jars, as do many Yankee Candle fans, but some change is always nice!
New Yankee Candle formula?
I’ve also gotten to understand that Yankee Candle has reworked its formula to make the scents a bit less strong.
Depending on the person, it can be good or bad – I personally like really strong scents, but they do tend to give me headaches, and I’m not the only one.
It seems like the new Yankee Candle releases have taken this into account, and the scents have been refined to offer a more uniform throw for all their candles. Just my opinion, might be something less (like something economic).

The Yankee Candle Amber & Sandalwood candle is the first one I think would definitely be perfect for fresh spring days, that’s true, but even more so for autumn days.
You’ve got a great mix of sweet and woody notes in this one, with Tonka bean mixed with cardamom, caramel, and patchouli. A dreamy scent perfect if you like vanilla sandalwood candles, with that little Yankee Candle twist.

New Yankee Candle Releases 2023: Bayside Cedar
A walk along the forest path right after the rain with refreshing notes of grapefruit, mandarin blossoms, and warm amber filling the air.
Some time ago, I remember someone asking me if I knew any rain scented candles, and the Yankee Candle Bayside Cedar candle is one that reminds me a little bit of that kind of scent.
A mix of sweet, floral, and woody notes that make a dreamy, refreshing scent with bergamot, pear, water lily, cedarwood, grapefruit, musk, and amber notes.
One of the best new Yankee Candle releases for spring 2023, for when the weather is just starting to get a bit warmer.

New Yankee Candle Scents for 2023: Smoked Vanilla & Cashmere
Rich vanilla made more tempting with smoky notes and wrapped in soft cashmere and warm amber.
When I say some of these remind me of my favorite autumn Yankee Candle scents, I’m not joking. The new Smoked Vanilla & Cashmere candle ticks all the boxes to burn when the weather is cold and all you want to do is wrap yourself up in a cozy blanket.
Some interesting, strong notes of smoked cinnamon, cedar, amber, charred marshmallow, vanilla ash, and charcoal give great depth to the Yankee Candle Smoked Vanilla & Cashmere candle.
It just ends up making it perfect to burn on warm spring and summer nights, all the way throughout winter.

In the blend, you’ve got some watery notes of ozone accord and aldehydes, backed by really woody notes of fir balsam, cedarwood, and delicious Tonka bean.

New Yankee Candle Releases 2023: Floral Scents
There are more floral candle scents in the new Yankee Candle 2023 releases than in any other fragrance family I’ve defined for you in this guide.
After all, it is indeed spring candle scents and summer candles we’re talking about, so it makes sense.
Some of them are also part of the new Art in the Park Spring and Summer collections, which both contain 3 new scents each.
Yankee Candle 2023 Spring and Summer Scents: Art in the Park
Enjoy the vibrant scents of an arts festival in the park, with notes of green apple, fragrant florals, and a base of smooth woods.
The Yankee Candle Art in the Park candle was released at the beginning of January 2023 and gives its name to the Art in the Park collection.
We’ve got a good balance in the fragrance notes, which are tainted with floral, fruity, and woody scents.
In the fragrance blend, an uplifting green apple note, backed by super romantic notes of jasmine, rose, musk, violet, and water lily.
The presence of sandalwood and cedarwood gives more depth and dreaminess to the Yankee Candle Art in the Park candle, making it a staple to have for fresh spring days.

Escape to a lush tropical paradise that’s equal parts intoxicating florals and sweet, ripe fruit.
The Signature jar Wild Orchid is one of the newest Yankee Candle spring scents that exist in the UK, Europe, and the United States.
The name Wild Orchid might remind you of something really floral, but you’ve got a kind of wet, woody scent when you burn this one.
The Yankee Candle Wild Orchid candle has lots of floral fragrance notes in the blend, with mandarin blossom, wild orchid, hibiscus, bergamot, jasmine, and banana flower.
Some deeper notes of musk, amber, and sandalwood coupled with strawberry nectar make it the perfect new Yankee Candle scent to burn as soon as the weather gets a tad warmer.

Lemon peel gives the Hand Tied Blooms candle something more uplifting, while the woody notes make it that much more long-lasting even when you’re done burning it.

New Yankee Candle Releases 2023: Food & Drink Scents
Food and drink-scented candles are some of my ultimate favorites; from chocolate-scented candles to gingerbread candles, I never have enough of those scents.
In the new Yankee Candle 2023, I’ve found there were 6 really good food, cake, and coffee-scented candles.
Usually, those are scents I’d burn during the fall and winter time, so I feel it’s a bit odd to have them released at the beginning of January – but why not!
New Yankee Candle Scents for 2023: Iced Berry Lemonade
Enjoy a tall cold glass of pink lemonade on a hot summer’s day. Notes of Lemon sugar are mixed with ruby red grapefruit and juicy pomelo scents to create a refreshing drink.
Iced Berry Lemonade is made of lots of different citrus and fruity notes. In the blend, you’ve got lemon sugar, grapefruit, mandarin, raspberry, pineapple, yuzu, and pomelo.
I’m all about lemon-scented candles (like the Purewick candle Lemon Drizzle), but it’s true that the addition of vanilla bean, malt, and leaves is a great choice to balance the really citrusy Iced Berry Lemonade candle.

Enjoy a delicious treat, with nuts from a fresh waffle cone filled with banana ice cream, and caramel and chocolate swirls.
One of the most exciting new Yankee Candle scents for 2023 is Banoffee Waffle, released later this year as part of the Art in the Park Summer collection.
I can’t wrap my head around the reason why the Banoffee Waffle candle is being released for summer, other than to start planning the new autumn-scented Yankee Candles, to be honest.
Really a delicious blend of sweet notes in this one, with banana cream, banana ice cream sorbet, vanilla, and chocolate, balanced by tangy lemon and lime.
Interesting blend for one of the best new Yankee Candle releases for 2023 in my opinion, especially if you like sweet, cake-scented candles.

Anyone who’s been here before knows that I’m utterly in love with all kinds of coffee-scented candles, and Yankee Candle until then only had the Café al Fresco candle, only available in the USA.
Well, now that the Yankee Candle Vanilla Bean Espresso candle has been released, coffee lovers rejoice!
A really sweet and strong coffee candle that uses in its blend caramel and toffee along with whipped cream, cocoa bean, black vanilla, and coffee bean.
Interesting notes of lemon rind and sweet mandarin balance that strong espresso candle flavor, making it one of my newest staples.

Again, why is it being released now, other than to help us survive these last few months of winter, and prepare for the fall later this year?

The Vanilla Creme Brulee candle is in my opinion one of the most interesting, and I’m not only saying this because I’m crazy about French pastries – maybe a little bit.
This is one of the new Yankee Candle scents for 2023 that I can’t wait to actually smell, as it mixes all kinds of sweet notes of baked cookie, milk, vanilla, Tonka, and praline with cinnamon and some fruity scents to give it a bit more depth and tanginess.
Red fruits and orange peel blend in the Vanilla Creme Brulee candle to balance all these super sweet notes – another one of the new Yankee Candle releases for spring and summer 2023 which honestly belong to the fall and winter category.

As sweet as a bunny, this fragrance features notes of chocolate chips, cookie crumbs, and vanilla-infused cream.
To this day, Yankee Candle has only announced one candle for Easter; the Bunny Cake Pop candle. A big reminder of some Wickford and Co candles I love, and the Chocolate Eggs candle by Yankee Candle too.
In the blend, some utterly sweet notes of chocolate chips, cookies, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla.
You’d think the Bunny Cake Pop candle is part of the Christmas 2023 collection! Perfect if you like candles like Vanilla Cupcake for sure.

Although I could have included the Mango Ice Cream candle in the Fruity fragrance family, I did think it belonged to the Food & Drink, sweet family.

Yankee Candle 2023 Spring and Summer Scents: Coconut Beach
A taste of the tropics — warm coconut notes blended with scents of pineapple and vanilla.
For starters, you’ve got the Coconut Beach candle, which might be new to the UK and Europe, but is definitely not new to the United States.
In the Coconut Beach candle, you’ve got something that will remind you a little bit of the Black Coconut candle and the Moonlit Cove candles – different fragrance notes, same atmosphere.
I used to love the Moonlit Cove candle when I got it a few years ago, and I’m happy we’ve got something so summery in the new Yankee Candle releases for summer 2023!
Salty air, airy musk, and fresh coconut give the Coconut Beach a really ocean-scented vibe, backed by sweet pineapple and vanilla and a dreamy scent of lei blossom. Perfect to imagine yourself on a beach in Hawaii.

Top notes include orange, pear, passionfruit, and guava. Then, we’ve got romantic freshness with passionflower, applewood, vanilla, musk, mint, and eucalyptus giving a real kick to this otherwise really sweet candle.
If you like candles like Seaside Woods, this one is fruitier, but we’re still in the same kind of sea-scented candle, with the sand, the breeze, and all.

The Cucumber Mint Cooler candle is part of the Art in the Park Spring collection, along with Watercolour Skies and the Art in the Park candle.
I could have included it in the Food & Drink section of this guide, but it’s really fruity and fresh, and I think it embodies the freshness of spring to perfection.
The fragrance notes blend lemon, orange, grapefruit, and cucumber, giving something really fruity contrasted by fresh spearmint, jasmine, musk, and eucalyptus.
Perfect if you’d like to burn a clean-scented candle after cleaning the house on a Sunday morning.

Yankee Candle 2023 Spring and Summer Scents: Ocean Air
Fresh, invigorating ocean air carried in by white-capped waves – clean, sunny notes mingle with jasmine, white amber, and sandalwood.
I love, love, love sea-scented candles – I’ve written a full guide to the best ones on the market, and well, it seems that the new Yankee Candle Ocean Air candle might join the other ones soon!
You’ve got in the Ocean Air candle some really flowery scents that give a clean, fresh vibe to the fragrance; linen breeze, lemon, cotton flower, musk, and cedarwood give that beach breeze scent that you can smell at the end of a day at the beach.
You’ve also got some more romantic notes of white lily, bergamot, and fresh vanilla, a reminder of the sun setting on the beach.

New Yankee Candle Scents for 2023: Black Tea & Lemon
A refreshing take on a classic – black tea sweetened with the scents of vanilla, softened musk notes and finished with a lemon twist.
I feel like we’d really been missing some beverage-scented candles in the Yankee Candle brand – aside from one or two chocolate candles, we had no coffee, and no tea.
Funnily, this type of candle is a favorite when you look at the most popular Bath and Body Works candles, and even some other brands like DW Home.
In the Black Tea & Lemon candle, you’ve got a real kick of yuzu, lime leaves, pepper, lemon, and ginger, backed by some woodier, more oriental notes of musk and vanilla.
Perfect to burn during fresh spring days, or if you’re working from home and need some motivation to keep going.

A blend of earthy sage notes, mingled with notes of luxurious talc and lemon-lime to create a natural harmony.

A really earthy scent, it’s true, but you’ve definitely got the kick from the citrus when you burn the Yankee Candle Sage & Citrus candle.
Romantic notes of geranium, lavender, patchouli, and musk complete the Sage & Citrus candle, which is, in my opinion, a new best-selling Yankee Candle scent.
Something really perfect when you’re trying to relax but don’t want to invest in an aromatherapy candle.
