Unique Workshops in London: Baking at Bread Ahead Bakery, Borough Market
Since its opening in 2013, Bread Ahead Bakery has become legendary for their filled doughnuts.
From honeycomb to classic custard and a twist on the British dessert Eton Mess, the bakery has something for everyone.
In addition to huge doughnuts, cinnamon buns and other cheese and olive bread sticks, Bread Ahead Bakery offers hand-ons classes and workshops where you can learn to make everything from sweet pastries to sourdough bread.
You’ll leave with freshly baked goodies you made yourself and recipes to recreate the magic at home – not before you get a bite at buzzing Borough Market and check out London Bridge’s hidden gems, though: that would be a shame!

I’ve mentioned The Vaults Collective on Westow Hill, in the beautiful Crystal Palace neighborhood, more times than I can recall.
From vegan breakfast bites to delicious chai latte and a unique concept store vibe, The Vaults Collective is everything to a plant lover, too, since you’ll find plenty of gardening books there, in addition to beautiful home decor bits.
The Vaults Collective also offers various classes, including a fun perfume creation workshop.
Whether you’re a perfume fanatic or a newbie, you’ll be guided through the art of blending top, middle, and base notes and learn tips and tricks about fragrance making.
When you’re done, visit the Crystal Palace Park, famous for its life-sized dinosaur sculptures.
Then, make your way to the cute secret cafes tucked around Westow Hill, like Colairo’s, or go vintage shopping at the Haynes Lane Market for anything from jewelry to scarves and home decor.

If you’re itching to get your hands dirty and create something beautiful, why not learn the basics of throwing clay on a potter’s wheel and decorate your creations?
