I’ve been planning to share with you the best florists and plant shops in London for a while now, and am really excited for you to discover other hidden gems to shop for souvenirs, or just to pop by and enjoy the scent of lush greenery.
Whether you’re a balcony gardener or are lucky enough to live in London with a garden attached to your house, these spots all make for great specialty shops – even if you’re not planning to buy!

In this guide, we’ll be traveling to South East London with the likes of Crystal Palace and Deptford, but also North London with Stoke Newington, and go Central with Mayfair.

Beautiful Flower Shops in London: Forest, Deptford, South East London
I still remember the first time I came across Forest in Deptford Market Yard.
I’d just been walking from the Cutty Sark ship in Greenwich, and I think I was looking to get lost in the area in search of hidden gems I’d never seen.
That’s when I found Forest, just steps from Deptford Station.
Located in Arch 4 of Deptford Market Yard, the plant shop sells way more than plants: it’s a true destination, with curated home decor and really cute lifestyle brands.
What makes it special, for starters, is its location under the railway arches.
Then, as soon as you step in, you’re greeted by lush greenery – this includes rare species, succulents, and exotic plants.
I do love curiosity shops, and Forest feels a little like this, with unexpected gifts and souvenirs behind every corner: candles, skincare, pots, plants, even towels are to be found in the shop.
In addition, Forest in Deptford Market Yard is one of the places that offer some really cool, unique workshops.
Wreath-making if you visit London at Christmas, flower arranging, terrarium building all make for unique experiences.

Beautiful Plant Shops in London: Stokey Garden & Flower Store, Stoke Newington
For those who love stumbling upon cafes hidden inside shops, you’ll find that Stokey Garden & Flower Store is one of the best spots to enjoy a good cuppa while surrounded by plants and flowers.
We’re here in the heart of Stoke Newington, in North London.
Stoke Newington Church Street feels like a quaint village inside London, and there are plenty of independent shops, charity shops, and rustic cafes there.
When it comes to Stokey Garden & Flower Store, it sells a selection of wonderful bouquets and plants, and specializes in creating unique floral designs for occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, anniversaries and the like.
Hydrangeas, orchids, roses are of course available, but Stokey Garden also offers a range of beautiful exotics.
Before (or after) you go flower shopping, pop by the cafe – it’s an unexpected spot to have breakfast in North London, brunch, or lunch, and there’s even a secret garden in the back for alfresco dining.
Like Forest, Stokey Garden is also a really cute place for seasonal workshops such as Christmas wreath-making – if you’re looking for must-visit places in Stoke Newington, you really, really shouldn’t miss this plant shop.

Beautiful Flower Shops in London: Roseur, Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross
Roseur in Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross, has been one of my favorite florists in London ever since I first came across it a few years ago: you wouldn’t believe the beauty of this shop.
Coal Drops Yard, for starters, is one of the best spots to go shopping in London – from jewelry shops to indie clothing brands, they’ve got it all, only steps away from King’s Cross Station.
When it comes to Roseur, it’s a boutique flower shop founded by floral artist Sophie Kim that specializes in both fresh and dried flower arrangements, with a sustainable approach to floristry.
The shop is not that big, but it does make for one of the most magical places in London – it mixes Sophie Kim’s background in sculpture and fine art with unique designs and seasonal blooms.
Again, if you’re ever hunting for cool workshops, unique experiences in the city, Roseur is one place that offers some of the best moments making flower bouquets, dried wreaths and other dome creations.
Plus, those who love shopping for homeware will enjoy Roseur’s selection of vases and ceramics – from the colors to the textures, they’re all unique pieces to gift or have at home.
When you’re done at the flower shop, why not take a walk along Regent’s Canal up to Camden Town for more shopping, or take some time to relax at nearby Granary Square with its fountains?
Granary Square is also a great spot to admire Christmas lights in the city come end November – and is a wonderful place to visit with kids, too!

Beautiful Plant Shops in London: W6 Garden Centre and Cafe, West London
Tucked under the railway arches by Ravenscourt Park (a wonderful spot to see nature in London in the spring and autumn!), W6 Garden Centre & Cafe is one of the most special plant shops in the city.
It feels cozy, and was founded with the aim of offering high-quality plants and gardening support to Londoners.
There, you’ll find both indoor and outdoor plants, garden accessories, stylish pots, and even has a cafe on-site: cakes, specialty coffee, vegan and vegetarian-friendly meals and snacks are all available on the menu.
Garden cafes are far and few between in London, but at W6 Garden Centre & Cafe, you can really enjoy a taste of nature, surrounded by a wonderful urban jungle.
This West London hidden gem is a must-see if you’re into nature, even if you’re a balcony gardener.
From shrubs to succulents, ornamental fruit and citrus trees, and from herbs to climbers, you’ll find it all at W6 Garden Centre & Cafe.

Beautiful Plant Shops in London: London Terrariums, Bethnal Green, East London
Located at the end of Bethnal Green Road, where the famous Brick Lane starts, London Terrariums first opened in 2014 out of a love for plants and indoor gardening.
This is here one of the most unique shops in London; it’s the capital’s first shop dedicated solely to terrariums and related houseplant culture.
I do love finding concept stores and other such places to shop in the city, and the Bethnal Green Road shop is the it-place for DIY terrarium kits and ready-made terrariums.
Inside London Terrariums, you’ll find everything you need to build your own miniature indoor garden: moss, small plants, soil mix, and plenty of decorative elements, alongside cute homeware bits.
Like many of London’s flower and plant shops, London Terrariums regularly offers terrarium-making workshops, to help you dive deep into nature, right in the heart of East London.
When you’re done shopping, you’ll find plenty of places to visit around Bethnal Green:

Beautiful Plant Shops in London: The Vaults Collective, South East London
Located in the heart of Crystal Palace, on Westow Hill, The Vaults Collective is a wonderful plant shop that also offers a curated selection of beautiful homeware, home decor, and gardening books.
If you’re looking for unique things to buy in London and feel like you’ve already seen it all, don’t despair: in this shop, established in a repurposed bank, you’ll find accessories, plants and home decor bits galore.
There used to be a great secret cafe inside, with vegan breakfast bits and snacks, La Mouche Bakery, but it’s now closed.
The selection of houseplants, succulents, cacti, ceramics, woven baskets and books still makes it one of my favorite plant shops in the city; The Vaults Collective is simply a must-visit when you’re in the Crystal Palace area.
It’s open everyday of the week and Westow Hill and surrounding streets, where The Vaults Collective sits, is dotted with some of the best vintage shops in London, including Maltpress Trading and Bambino.
Since the coffee shop is no more, if you get hungry or are looking for cute breakfast spots in the area, I can’t recommend Colairo’s Deli enough.
It’s got that vintage shopfront complete with a blue bike in front of the door, is a floral cafe, is the only place I’ve found in London with Red Velvet doughnuts, and even has an affordable afternoon tea offering.
Nearby, lovers of abandoned places will want to see the Crystal Palace Subway, and if you’re into hidden gems, the Crystal Palace Park dinosaurs make for a striking sight as well.

Beautiful Flower Shops in London: Mozart Concierge Coffee and Flowers, Central London
Located on Albemarle Street in Mayfair, Mozart Concierge Coffee & Flowers is one of central London’s most charming flower shops and cafes.
Here, the concept was to combine a boutique florist with a specialty coffee spot, offering a refined shop filled with blooms, boutique bouquets, and the aroma of fresh coffee.
Inside, you’ll find fresh flowers for bouquets, rose-filled hat boxes, and premium floral subscriptions, alongside a cafe serving coffee, teas, pastries, and delicious desserts.

I love that London knows to mix shopping with secret cafes, which is why I chose to recommend some of these places.
Stokey Garden will forever remain one of my favorite places; themed cafes, especially floral and botanical, are definitely my jam, and it’s located in one of the quaintest areas of the city.
